With a warm interior, an open layout, and a spacious balcony, you will have a comfortable stay in a memorable setting. The shared pool and hot tub are a must after a long day on the slopes and a fully equipped kitchen awaits back at home base to assist you in making family-favorite meals with ease. For a bit of fun indoors, you can head over to the community game room and play a round of pool or foosball. And when everyone wants to settle in for the night, the free WiFi and flatscreen TVs offer plenty of entertainment.

Thanks to Powderhorn's prime location right at the base of the mountain, your vacation rental is ski-in/ski-out, so you'll never waste time driving long, snowy distances or finding parking. When you need a break from skiing, head over to Club Solitude for access to a fitness center, sauna, game room, and more. Powderhorn Lodge itself offers a shared pool and hot tub for your refreshment in any season. I can say without hesitation or exaggeration that this is one of the best rentals we’ve ever booked! Selling points: 1. Very responsive owner2. Incredibly detailed instructions for arrival, check-in, use of facilities and check-out3. Cozy, quiet 4th floor (condo that is a 3 minute walk (in ski boots) from the Apex Express lift and just steps away from the pool, hot tubs, fitness center, game room, equipment rental and restaurants4. Indoor, underground parking5. Great heating system (electric with a gas fireplace)6. Fully functional kitchen with absolutely everything you need to prepare all meals (the owner even supplies a variety of oils, spices, ground drip coffee/filters and creamer, as well as plastic wrap and aluminum foil, dish soap and dishwasher tablets)7. Indoor ski locker on the ground floor (with a padlock in-place and code supplied in the instructions8. Lovely porch overlooking the building’s courtyard (and Brighton mountain in the background)9. The best king bed mattress we’ve ever experienced in a rental or hotel (by a wide margin), and a variety of bedding options10. Plenty of space in the bathroom for all toiletries you bring (and the owner supplies shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, too!)11. Sturdy plastic boot trays (and the owner even has an electric boot / glove dryer you can use)THIS UNIT DRASTICALLY EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATONS. If Solitude/Brighton is your destination, rent this condo! It’s deserves more than 5 stars!

The condo was a little bigger than I expected. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking meals. Access to slopes was perfect. There are restaurants in the village, we didn't have to go anywhere. I would suggest before heading up the canyon to stop and pick up groceries.

Mountain Base Condo

this property was spot on as described in the listing. Albert was extremely communicative and always answered all questions quickly. The unit was very well appointed, including Roku for both TVs. The unit was very spacious, especially since it was just my wife and myself. It was located a few steps from the elevator on the top floor with a nice view. When leaving the building a two minute walk had us at the base of the mountain and ready to ski. I will definitely be saving this property for future use.

Perfect place to stay. Parking has become a nightmare at big cottonwood so having a garage and ski in ski out more than makes up for the price increase

Very enjoyable stay for a short ski vacation.

Property is as advertised. Stocked with all the basics for cooking/cleaning, towels, and linens, etc. Very quick walk to restaurants and the Apex lift. Good storage facilities for ski equipment. Easy access to pool, hot tub, and game room although these were a bit crowded the week we were there. Owner very quick to respond to inquiries by email. Only thing perhaps lacking was “entertainment“ for the room, such as reading materials, local guides, games, etc..

Solitude is Amazing

We didn’t have much interaction with the owners we’re pretty easy-going. The condo is absolutely amazing very clean and everything you need to cook. Our family enjoyed our stay and there was so many things for the kids to do. We definitely will be booking again next year. 25/26. To the owners thank you for your hospitality.

Great place and location couldn’t be better.

The lodge is excellent. The unit on 4th floor is great. You get view, close to hot tub and elevator. A few hindered yards to ski lift, bars and a couple restaurants.

Awesome Powderhorn Stay at Solitude Village

We loved the condo and the setting! The condo was clean, cozy, pretty, and so convenient! Just steps away from the lift, ski rental, restaurants and shops! Check in was a breeze....no stopping on the way to get keys. The condo owner was very nice and easy engage with. He gave detailed, helpful instructions for everything. We had an awesome time and can't wait to come back!

Essential stay for the win

This condo was just as advertised, clean and well appointed for our stay. We had dinners in at the nice dining area. Media was great for everyone. Location was essential and effective for the big snow weekend. I would rent again. Owner was on point with directions communications and advice. This was a perfect stay. Thanks very much.

Great place to ski

Albert’s property was wonderful. I was there with my adult son to sample spring skiing at Solitude and Brighton. The condo was very comfortable and perfectly located within the ski village. Check in was easy as was unloading our stuff into the condo. Albert was a great host - very responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable of the ski area. We’d love to return.
