Comfortable and clean! Had a couple of great nights sleep. Cool old military hospital converted to a hotel. Super quiet and the breakfasts were well catered. Owners are super nice as well.

We stayed here back in March, but in a regular room which was on the European standard size (small for us Americans), but the beds, pillows, sheets, and simple quietness was great. This trip Halstaberget hotel was booked full again so we tried a Family Room at Hotel Nipan and were pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is an old military hospital and there is a lot of vinyl flooring, but it is super clean, way more comfortable than the Marriotts back home, and the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. If we hadn't just bought a property an hour away we would come back for sure!

Tre vistelser här i år. Första besöket hade vi ett standard rum och det var okej, men det var gammalt kiss i toaletten så rummet stank och vi fick byta rum, frukosten som serverades hade flera pålägg och ost som gått ut. Andra besöket hade vi ett familjerum som var bekvämt och bra, och frukosten var bra. Tredje besöket så blev det familjerum igen, men det var skräp i papperskorgarna. Tyst och bra med sköna sängar. Allt linoleum golv ger sjukhus känsla, men det är rent och fint. De skickar meddelanden i hotels.com appen, men svarar aldrig.

Vi har bott här flera gånger. Och kommer defenetivt bo här igen. Trevligt. Tyst på rummen och trevlig personal. Och kul att det finns biljard och lite annat. Synd bara att en del gäster inte är rädda om sakerna. Mycket trevlig ägare och mycket gott kaffe dygnet runt.

Priset var relativt lågt å man fick väl vad man betalade för, slitet och omodernt men fungerar. Ligger tyst o lugnt nån halv kilometer utanför stadskärnan. Ingen reception men nyckeln fick man ut enkelt med kod. Vi råkade få ett ostädat rum - det ordnades med ett telefonsamtal, men ändå... Enkel men ok frukost. 8
