Cozy cabin was a nice little get away with my husband and our doggies. Host was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed getting out of the city . Fall trees was beautiful
This is a small cabin. First floor is about the size of a hotel room with bed, small fridge, coffee pot, and bathroom. You can climb a ladder to get to a couple more beds. When I was there I did not have time to make a fire, but there is a nice secluded area in the back of the cabin with chairs and a fire pit. This location was perfect for my small dachshund and I during our trip.
This was exactly what we need for a disconnect and rest!! Very quite and secluded. Morning coffee whatching and listening to the birds was amazing. Only thing i wish we would have done was had more time to book it for 2 nights. Tammy was an amazing hostess, great communication from booking it all the way to checking out. Definitely will be returning in the future.
The cozy cabin lived up to its name. Management on top of everything!

King's cabin is pretty much exactly as advertised: a cozy little handbuilt cabin sitting at the mouth of a beautiful midwestern forest. The owner's were very welcoming, accomodating, and responsive. It's a lovely little spot, and it seems like they intend to expand and improve it over time. They've got me looking forward to hopefully staying there again next year and seeing what they do with the place. Wishing you the best!
I was excited to head to the area for some hiking but I waited late to book a spot. I was thrilled when I found this adorable cabin.
Tammy was awesome at staying in touch as I had questions before arrival.
Then we got there! We were greeted on arrival and warmly welcomed! We were invited to join a lovely bonfire already going and the hosts included us in the whole evening. We spent the evening eating one of the best meals I've ever had among folks that treated us like long lost friends.
I can't say enough. The Cabin was perfect for what we needed. Warm. Clean. The bed was great. The bathroom cabin is easy to use. AWESOME for the price. The hospitality was unmatched in ALL of my travels. And we walked away with new friends.
This cabin was perfect for the weekend getaway that my friends and I wanted! Check in was super easy, the host was great, and we just loved the cozy vibes :)
This is a well run property in a rustic location. The cabin is well designed and the furnishings are in very good shape. The host communication was responsive and helpful. We very much liked the individual pavilions behind the cabins with a separate campfire area. The shared kitchen building is very unique and very trouble free as the other cabin was very respectful and polite. I ended up liking it very much as it removed the cooking from the cabin to a central location. I would recommend if you are looking for a quiet and private location for your stay. Best of all we could bring Fido and the per fee is very reasonable.
It was cold the night we stayed there, it was difficult to regulate temperature as it kept getting extremely hot so I had to turn off the heat and then it would get cold fast. Not good insulation. It was clean and good price. Host is excellent.
