Top Somerset Hotel Reviews
Budget Inn Roxboro
10/10 Excellent
"All I can say is don't judge a book by its cover. I was a bit off put by my initial impression of the property. Having said that...I could not imagine more congenital and kind staff. The room was very clean and it was extremely quiet. I had the best nights sleep and even though the parking lot was full, it remained quiet until 9-10 a.m."

Lakefront with Million Dollar Views on HYCO Lake
10/10 Excellent
"Our Host was super friendly and responsive. Property is spacious, nicely appointed, kitchen is very well equipped, bedrooms very comfortable. Towels and linens are quality. The morning and sunset views from the boat house are amazing, as well as set up for outdoor dining. Home is well located for antique shopping, as well dining/beverages in Danville and Roxboro. Easy access to VIR. We are looking forward to another visit soon."
Private Lakefront Log Cabin
10/10 Excellent
"We loved the rustic feel of the cabin combined with the comforts of nice bathrooms and a full kitchen. The cabin is really cute inside. Good to note: From the map location in the listing it looks like it's really far from the lake - we almost clicked past it for this reason, but luckily we read more closely and looked at some of the guest pictures and saw it's close to the water. The wifi didn't work (and we have a few technically skilled people with us who tried to fix it for a couple hours), but there was enough phone service to do what we needed to do. Maybe also good to note that campfires are not allowed, and there is a gas grill available. We made s'mores on our camp stove :) We would come back!"
Lake-Front - Hot Tub, Large Dock, Fire Pit, Deck
10/10 Excellent
"The entire stay was relaxing and the house was fully equipped with everything we needed. The host communicated very well. Definitely a 5-star property."
Heron Landing: Escape to Lake Mayo. Private cove, where nature abounds!
8/10 Good
"The location and cabin itself was awesome. It was very conducive for family events, especially with the separate game room downstairs. The landlords were very responsive and quick when we reached out for anything. The main thing that impacted our stay was the cleanliness. It looked like it did not have a thorough cleaning in awhile. The showers, toilets, and sinks needed a thorough cleaning with mold on the shower curtains. They did replace them immediately upon request. The floors in the kitchen had crumbs throughout the floor, including the kitchen table. The refrigerator needed a thorough cleaning as well. We spent a few hours upon arrival cleaning things that should have been cleaned prior to arrival."
The Lake House: Dock|Marine Hammock|Screen Porch
10/10 Excellent
"Great remolded house on the lake . Secluded and quiet. Well decorated and lots of light."
Majestic Lakefront Log Cabin located in the NC High Plains
10/10 Excellent
"Property was excellent. Perfect for either a weekend stay or extended. Wish I had more time ro do some fishing and make a fire in the pit. But nice VRBO. Would highly recommend.."
