"Our host was a great communicator. He responded very quickly to any questions. The house has some beautiful hand made furniture and features that make it unique. Very nice kitchen and updated bathrooms. Great deck for enjoying nice evening or grilling on new outdoor grill. Close to town for restaurants or shopping. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the cleanliness. Which was caused by previous guest not following check out instructions. I would recommend this place if visiting the area. "

"The townhome was very clean and super nice since it does seem like a new build. We stayed 2 nights for a quick trip for a funeral. The bedrooms were good sizes and the beds were super comfy. Unfortunately, we couldn't utilize the back porch sitting area since it rained the whole time we were there. The kitchen had a little box of snacks and coffee pods! Only thing that didn't work was the fan in the guest room to the far left and the lamp on the end table in that room. Also, walls are thin and...

"Well done small cozy 2 bed cottage, with an Amazing view of Lake Cumberland!! Our hosts Linda/Josh very welcoming and friendly!! We very much enjoyed our stay at their cottage. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Beautiful, pet friendly country home that is perfectly located close to everything. The secure, fenced in yard was so convenient for our dogs and they loved running free and watching the cows. The views were stunning and felt very secluded. The home was cozy and well stocked. Kris was a great host and always quick to respond. You have to try the donuts at Amon’s Sugar Shack and a true grandmas breakfast with fantastic biscuits and gravy. Cumberland Grill has a beautiful view of the lake and was delicious. The Milk cake at Lucky’s Irish for dessert was heaven! The Cumberland Falls was less than an hour away. Conley Bottom Resort is a stunning marina 25 minutes away with great rental prices and a restaurant on the water. I can’t recommend enough stopping at the Mill Springs State Park for stunning waterfall views and what looked like a steep, but beautiful walk down to the shores of the lake. It was an amazing vacation and I’m so thankful for this Kris and her home for making it happen! We would gladly stay there again."

"This property was very nice. Location was great! Perfect for a lake getaway. There was a Dollar General walking distance from house. Was nice when I needed something I forgot. We did have some hiccups the night we got to the house. The second bedroom upstairs has NO air-conditioning directly in the room. Had to turn the master bedroom air-conditioning down to 66 and turn our ceiling fan on high to push air down the hallway and into the spare bedroom. Our bedroom was nice and cold that night but my kids had trouble sleeping in a hot bedroom. One ended up downstairs on couch. Which was advertised as a place to sleep…but they had no extra blankets! Just sheets. So I put beach towels that I brought from home over my kid on the couch. Next morning we noticed there was not enough linen for everyone to take a shower. Had to contact host a second time to get more towels, wash clothes, and a blanket. Overall review the house was good. Only complaint is the air conditioning was barely manageable upstairs. Couldn’t turn the air conditioning in the master bedroom up at all because the spare bedroom would get so hot and stuffy. I would recommend instructions for the air conditioning units. There is one remote for both units. I was able to figure it out but would have been nice to have them. Wouldn’t have needed to contact host for instructions on how to turn air down for the upstairs unit if there was some instructions at check in or even in the post for house on website."
