"Very mixed experience. The hotel is centrally placed for Piazza Armerina. Clearly much money has been spent on the inside but it is at best a 2*. Had difficulty raising reception on arrival. Eventually a chamber maid arrived to do this. There was no room cleaning. Had to ask twice for toilet paper. No bathroom cleaning. No bed making. Breakfast was truly laughable. "The villa is beautiful, lovely inside and out. Very spacious and it really has everything inside you could need. The pool area is very large and the pool is large and beautiful, our only issue was the lack of workable umbrella stands as there is no shade around the pool until about 4pm. We didnt find too much to do local to the villa, there is a nice restaurant (La Taberna) in rucalmuto but we drove to San Leone, which had an array of resturants and beautiful beaches and just 20 mins drive...

"The stay was good, once we got in , the property manager was supposed to meet us but was not available this lead to multiple messages and problems however these were all resolved on the check in day and we had a great time."
