"Highly suggest bamboo backpackers. Tex, Mary and all of the staff are exceptionally hospitable and friendly, room was very clean. Make sure you go to Kava time and enjoy the kava! And take the fijian cooking class, Excellent spot to stay! Also, please don't touch my papayas."

"Bluewater Lodge is the perfect place to be! Never seen such an amazing staff..! You’ll get everything you need just bring your personal towel otherwise they can still get one for you, on the morning you can have a coffee and for the restaurant you have plenty of choice along the road! "This place was very disappointing. It has the air of a place going out of business. The staff didn't seem to care about the condition of it, and there was a charge for absolutely everything. For a surf camp it was surprising that there was no beach or area to surf by the property. They also didn't seem to be keen to teach surfing it's only for established surfers, which then have to pay $50 a day to surf. The property itself was the biggest let down.
