Extremeley friendly and helpful staff. Would reccomend this place for sure. Easy walking distance to the central piazza and lots of eating options. My advice for dinner, check out 'Da Beppe' about 1 block from hotel and well worth the visit for dining at night.

The hotel was well-situated. The room clean, but the decor was quite dated. Walking into the building and hallways felt a bit like student housing, but it was functional and comfortable. An extra garbage can in the room would be helpful.

Decent, well-located hotel.

My Wife and I stayed at Piazzi House for two nights in July 2023. It is well located, and we welcomed the free parking. The room was fine and had a functional kitchen. Marco was very pleasant and helpful and checking in and out was a breeze. The hotel could do with some renovation and our room was a little noisy as it faced the street. Overall, good value for money.

Piazzi House, perfect!

Our stay was perfect, Alessio from Piazzi House was the best host! He met us upon arrival, showed us where the complimentary parking was, suggested a wonderful restaurant, and called to make the reservation for us! My husband and I have been in Italy for 2 1/2 weeks of our 4 week stay, and Piazzi House, and the town of Sondrio is so far our favorite. The room itself was clean with ample room, the bathroom is nicely situated, the kitchenette just the right size, and the deck with chairs is refreshing to sit and have a cup of coffee, or just enjoy the sunshine. Thank you for everything Alessio!

Our latest holiday was again complimented by our stay at Piazza House. This was the fifth time we have stayed there and the place was clean and tidy. Residence nel centro di Sondrio a due passi di numero dalla zona pedonale. Monolocale ben strutturato di discrete dimensioni con tutto il necessario per cucinare. Biancheria da letto e da bagno di buonissima qualità. Letto e cuscini comodissimi. Noi avevamo la stanza affacciata sulla via e l’unica pecca era il rumore. Passano un po’ di auto e non è piacevolissimo. Il plus il parcheggio all’interno della struttura. Personale gentilissimo cortese e prodigo di consigli.

Ottima struttura per chi come noi viaggia con bambini alternando escursioni in Valtellina e giornate sulla neve: c'è la comodità di un appartamento spazioso e dotato di cucina, ma anche ottimi servizi, come la pulizia giornaliera dell'appartamento, il garage, la vicinanza al centro di Sondrio e una bella televisione che coi i bimbi non guasta. A portata di mano!!!!

Bellissimo soggiorno, l’hotel si trova a pochi passi dal centro di Sondrio, l’appartamento con l’angolo cottura comodissimo, per chi a voglia di cucinare i negozi alimentari si trovano a 5 minuti a piedi oppure 3 minuti in macchina. Ci sono tanti posti bellissimi da vedere che da Sondrio in un ora (anche meno)di macchina si arriva comodamente, io sono rimasta affascinata dalla bellissima Val di Mello , poi siamo andati sul ghiacciaio Fellaria, poi c’è Bormio vicino, insomma tanta scelta! Ovviamente la gentilezza del proprietario che ci a fornito ottime indicazioni su ristoranti e luoghi per escursioni!!

Soggiorno di una settimana: appartamento spazioso, pulito e con finiture di buona qualità, pulizie frequenti. Posizione centrale con tutti i servizi a portata di mano, compreso il supermercato a pochi minuti di cammino. Angolo cottura efficiente con dotazione di base completa ma molto essenziale, avendo intenzione di cucinare suggerisco portarsi qualche accessorio in più, come salviette, presine, contenitori etc. Simpatica la possibilità di usare il solarium sul tetto. Ottima comunicazione con la gestione della struttura.

Great place and great location, walking distance to the train station and local restraunts. Very helpful staff (Elessio) giving suggestions on what to do. Hired a car so had onsite parking and could drive to many attractions. Original room had a faulty air-conditioning but was upgraded to a room with an operating air conditioner. Some rooms have a lounge / bed. We had a queen size at least.

Meget fint

Meget fint hotel med lejlighed, der havde alt nødvendigt - inklusive air condition. Værten var meget venlig og hjælpsom, og bilen var sikkert placeret i der gratis parkeringshus. Byen er meget fredelig og med få turister. Desværre heller ikke det store udvalg af restauranter, men det kommer efter sigende i takt med et øget fokus på turisme. Kun et par timers togrejse fra Milano og en halv time til Tirana, hvorfra man kan få en flot togtur i Alperne med Bernina Expres.

We used this as an overnight stopover on a Sunday, so didn't really explore the local area. The manager, Alessio, was really helpful, giving us recommendations of where to eat and where to go for a walk.

Fantastic service and super-clean apartment.

Amazing service from Alessio - what a great communicator. He is passionate about his hotel and the area in which he lives. We were only here for a stopover but could easily have stayed a few more days. The apartment was very central to shopping and great restaurants and bars and very well maintained. Alessio was full of information from where to eat to where to see marmots. The apartment was one of the cleanest we stayed in on our whole 7 weeks in Europe and that includes the Venice Hilton :-) It had everything you need for a short or long stay. Bathrobes were a special treat too. Definitely be back.
