Beautiful place!

Gorgeous home with so much character! The views and location were stunning. The kitchen was very well appointed, and we enjoyed dinner on the deck overlooking the valley. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Absolutely Wonderful Property

Very beautiful property, location and accommodations. If I could rate this VRBO 12 out of 10 I certainly would! The outstanding view certainly makes it's location well worth the drive. While not "in town" - it is prefect as we all love the country-side charm and quiet location. Certainly will look at booking this property again in the future!

Lovely place

A lovely home in an unusually secluded site with tranquility and lovely views. It is somewhat remote but 12 minutes from Sonoma Plaza via a long, very windy road with beautiful vistas. Definitely 5 stars!

Beautiful home with views

We loved our stay! The house had so much character and architectural details. It was perfect for a group Sonoma trip. We loved the pool and spa. Stargazing was incredible! Although the house is tucked away in the countryside, Ubers were able to find us easily for our winery tours. Pat, our host, was also great and communicative. Her unit is on the lower level of the house and her presence on-site was very helpful. 10/10!

Birthday getaway.

Magical location. Well equipped in every way. Spectacular views. Tranquil. Wanted a space near wine country with space to enjoy family time. Able to swim, enjoy views, relax and cook or bring food in. Met and exceeded our expectations.

Hilltop House

Loved the house, accoutrements, view, pool & jacuzzi. A few quirky things, but the landlord took care of them right away! If you want privacy above Sonoma, this is the prefect place for you. Narrow, curvy, long road to get there, but once you're there, it's spacious with lots of windows and very comfortable. We'd stay here again!

Beautiful Place Tricky Drive

The place and accommodations are incredible. Views are amazing. The drive getting to the place is a little tricky. One lane and very narrow in some spots. Once there, it is beautiful and serene. Only complaint is, we didn’t opt for heating the pool so the pool was covered and it ruined the beauty of the pool area. Would have preferred to see the beauty of the water/pool whether we were going to swim or not.

Awesome location

A group of 4-7 of us stayed at the house for a week in June 2015. Overall, I would rate it very good, with a phenomenal view off the spacious deck, a well-equipped kitchen (lots and lots of plates, utensils, pots, pans, and the like, though a few more of the large wine glasses would have been nice (had only 4)), and sky full of stars at night. After the first time or 2 doing the winding drive up the hill, you don't give it much thought, and it's very convenient to the main square, nice to be removed from the hustle and bustle, as well as entertaining depending on who's doing the driving. :) A bit more light in the dining room/living room areas for better visibility when eating/playing games after dark would be helpful. The only word of caution is that, while there is a little bit of closet space to hang a few clothes, there is zero drawer space for any clothes in any of the 3 bedrooms, so be prepared to live out of your suitcases for the entire week. I don't mind that for a day or 2, but most of us were not happy about that for an entire week. If you're in the larger room, you do have quite a bit more space to spread out, but the other 2 bedrooms leave little space for luggage, etc. The sinks on each side of the shared bathroom were convenient. We had 7 people there only for 2 nights, so space in the main areas wasn't an issue. Definitely would limit your group to 6 people in the 3 bedrooms if you're staying for a week. The loft is quite small and designed primarily for kids.

Stunning Property

We stayed at Pats Sonoma house for a long weekend in November with some friends to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday. It was absolutely perfect, gorgeous views proximity to the best wineries and downtown Sonoma, and impeccable design throughout every space. I would love to come back again. Pat made the experience seamless, answering our questions and provided detailed instructions, even recommending restaurants for us to try as we were new to the area. 10/10 experience!

Wonderful unique home near Sonoma

The Summers House is an incredible place with an eclectic, unique feel and great amenities (especially the infinity pool and spa). The home is well equipped with great furnishings and decor. Pat is a wonderful host with great communication. We highly recommend the Summers House for anyone looking to stay in the Sonoma area.

Family Celebration in wine country

It was lovely - we enjoyed the hot tub on the patio overlooking a picturesque landscape, spent the day at wineries and came back to more hot tub. Perfect accommodations and Pat was a lovely hostess with a wealth of information.

Spectacular Property

We did a girls’ trip to Napa Valley and stayed at this property. We absolutely loved it! The owner was readily available and lives on property. The house is so very gorgeous with amazing little nooks for reading and spending time together. There were cool lofts and a wonderful kitchen with everything you need! The view was breathtaking! Great Views and Unique Property

The views off the deck were really great. Very unique home with interesting layout and decor. As we spent most of our time out exploring Napa / Sonoma, we would only usually be in the house for mornings and evenings and didn’t need to ask the host for much. Some interesting quirks to the house… guest bedrooms’ Jack n Jill bathroom with unique shower or the shutters that opened from the master bedroom into the laundry room… Bedrooms (other than master) were a bit smaller than we’d like especially with luggage, but the trade off was a very interesting house and gorgeous location. We had issues getting an Uber up to our location and would likely want to use a dedicated driver next time (add extra time for your reservations to account for Uber confusion). That is not a knock on the house but just an FYI for other guests. House was equipped with most of what we needed and was clean. The open layout offset the small kitchen and allowed all 6 of us to comfortably engage in conversation and relaxing in the morning and evenings.
