This spacious hillside home will make the perfect rental for a family or large group. Lots of living area and large yard space as well. Stocked with all the essentials to make your stay great. This unit also includes a garage and washer/dryer.

Conveniently located near all southern West Virginia attractions including Hatfield & McCoy trailheads, Winterplace Ski Resort, New River Gorge National Park.

Hillside retreat - loved it!

Property was excellent - very convenient to Burning Rock ATV and our own property just up the road. House was clean and spacious for our family - Really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to a return trip soon. It was super nice to have all the little things taken care of for you when you arrive. Charcoal for the grill, coffee, salt & pepper etc.

The home inside has been beautifully redone and had everything we needed. When the sunroom gets renovated - it will be the star of the home! We saw deer in the yard a few times. The home is close to Beckley and the southern part of NRG. Walking our dog in the yard was fine, but we could not walk her in the neighborhood- several neighbors had loose dogs.

Not what it seemed

Not impressed with this property. Had to turn around in neighboring drive to make the turn into the property driveway. Driveway was very steep and rutted with not enough space to park. Interior of property was ok, but needs attention. Dishwasher is loose in counter. Cabinet doors hey ceiling when opening and no lights where washer and dryer are. Neighborhood is not very good, even though we didn’t have any issues. Would not stay again.

Great place to stay

This place is great... owners are great people plenty of room in the house. Being 3 levels with garage and a yard.. very nice layout we had 2 adults and 4 kids and it felt just like home not a hotel being cramped up.. would definitely go back there is some beautiful scenery around the area

It worked for what we needed...

The beds could be upgraded. Trash was left under one of the beds and behind one of the curtains. Wasp in kitchen. Feont door did not open at all. Solar lights outside did not work. Flooring was uneven which shoukd have been disclosed before renting it out. Also windows are double pane but the outside front window was broken.

Adequate

The property was basically okay. The two double beds were comfortable though the twins could have been better. The utensils and flatware were very cheap and the house needs a little work on construction. For example the cupboard door would rub the ceiling when opening it. No stopper or trap for kitchen sink. Towels were very nice and large roomy bathrooms. It met our needs but was not impressive.

Great place. We were 3 couples who were together for riding motorcycles. Great place, wonderful rides. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Sophia rental

House was clean and nice amenities were provided. Common area furniture needs to be updated and there needs to be a table provided for meals for larger groups. Two bedrooms were comfortable and two bedrooms need new beds. Twins beds are very worn and uncomfortable. Bunk bed was broken. Flooring issues

Cute house with potential!

This is a cute house with a lot of potential to be much nicer! When the sun porch and basement are finished, that will definitely add needed space, but overall, it was fine for us. It is an older house so there were no screens in the windows, and we wanted to keep the windows open, even throughout the chilly nights, because there is a musty smell in the house. I'm not sure where that's really coming from, but when the windows are open it's okay. When the windows are all closed, it's more noticeable. I think this property is in the process of being updated and with just a few more upgrades, it will be very nice!

Beautifully updated

The house was beautifully updated and tastefully decorated! The power reclining sofas were a plus. The supplied toiletries and kitchen staples were very much appreciated.

Daughter's Wedding

The communication with Michael was fantastic! He responded immediately when we messaged him. The house was very clean and spacious. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided in both bathrooms. Thank you for the special accommodations during our stay you are greatly appreciated.

Friends weekend

Overall the home was great. A few cosmetic things the dishwasher not screwed to the wall, the shower door and toilet paper handle loose. Love that shampoo, body wash, towels, lotion, soaps (bathroom and kitchen) provided. The home decorated well and super cute inside. The town has not much to offer and the neighbor’s dog barked most of the night.

Nice place

We had a very nice stay. It’s nicely renovated. The foundation is a bit off but once you get used to it it’s good. The area is not great but the house is nice inside. The owner is very nice to work with

Great place

Definitely worth it. Very clean and neat. Had everything we needed to have a nice stay. Me and a buddy went through CDL training at CDL assit which is just a mile down the road so it was very convenient. I would definitely stay again. Thanks for offering a nice place to stay.

Great place to stay

A group of friends and I stayed here for the weekend trip to go to Winterplace to ski. Not far only about a 27min ride from the rental to the ski resort. Quiet area, clean rental. Plenty of space. Quick response to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend.
