"Clean and recently renovated apartment in the middle of Castelnaudry. Parking free on the street in front. We stayed three nights, rented e-bikes at La Roue Qui Tourne in Castelnaudry, and had a fun visit. I understand from the owner that there normally is an extra fee for towels, so be aware. You will also need to pay attention to the detailed instructions provided by the owner to open the front security door."

"Staff went above and beyond! We received room upgrade due to confusion upon arrival via taxi area/parking lot--weather was super hot and mixed up and stressful arrival due to language barrier/misunderstanding. The staff was very kind and helpful. Also, after check out I had left a very important document in the safe and staff eased my anxiety --going above and beyond again and even walked me very quickly back to the parking lot to meet taxi who was waiting as I was catching a train and crazy time constraints and navigating the alleys and directions while under stress was overwhelming--again staff was AMAZING!!!Such a great stay and the pizza around the corner rec was spot on! Loved our stay!"

"Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Carcassonne. Family room was fabulous - clean and spacious, with a great view overlooking the street outside. The owners were welcoming and friendly, letting us leave our baggage and offering advice on the local area. Lovely breakfast with a beautiful courtyard outside. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough, thank you for a wonderful stay."

"The room we stayed in was well appointed with a comfortable bed and a powerful air conditioning unit. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in helping us navigate around. The hotel is in a great spot very close to the citadel, there is also a new laundromat on the same block. We only wish we had allowed ourselves more time here."

"Hotel needs a facelift, room was nice but over dated, breakfast was nothing special, booked hotel with a view but didn’t really enjoyed it , restaurant is mediocre and overpriced , if you’re going to spend time outside make sure you have a bug spray as there are millions of mosquitoes. Overall I would never rated this hotel as a luxury 5 stars"

"The hotel is well located a few steps from the Carcasonne fortress. We appreciate the air conditioning, comfortable bed and view of the fortress. The bathroom is snug but functional. Breakfast has a good variety of options. The eating area is tight and of course has a lot of people moving around getting drinks and food so I recommend sitting against the back wall so you don’t have a lot of traffic while enjoying your morning coffee. We visited during a few very hot days in July so the sparkling clean pool was an absolute treat."
