"The cabin was amazing and located close To a light house. Cabin had full amenities including usage of a washer and dryer. We sat out in morning in back area looking at forest. Location was perfect as you were within driving distance from everything but outside the major crowded areas. Hiking trails were great in the area and close to Acadia National Park. "This rustic cabin is beautiful and comfortable, with gorgeous views of the lake. It has everything you need, right down to salt and pepper, travel-size soap / shampoo etc. Lots of games and books, plus good Wifi and tv (including over the air tv and Hulu access if you have a subscription). "Myself and six other friends stayed here for two nights and had such a blast. The weather was intense our first night, but we stayed warm and cozy in the dome. "Nice, well kept house away from the hustle & bustle of Bar Harbor for our first visit to the Coast of Maine. Loved having morning coffee on the deck with the view of the harbor and ocean and then at night sitting out taking in the star-filled sky. Only suggestion would be to leave either the porch or garage light on on the day someone new is checking in for the first time. We arrived well after dark and had a hard time seeing where the door was to enter the house."
