Excellent service, lovely clean and quiet room, good gym facilities, lovely terrace with spectacular views across the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. Vittoria and the reception team are fantastic as were the breakfast staff and food

Rooms were spacious with lots of closet space. Breakfast options and staff were wonderful. Front desk team was friendly and helpful. Views were fantastic. Shuttle service town was timely and busy clean. Pool bar food was decent but for price and variety eat in town as much as possible.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. It is worth every penny! The staff is so amazing and friendly and the guests were fabulous too. I fell under the weather towards the end of the trip and they were super helpful to us finding a doctor and getting us taxis for our departure. Definitely will be staying here again when we visit Sorrento!

The hotel service was excellent. Our breakfast and diner host, Fernando, was very attentive and provided excellent service. We are a difficult family in that one of our family members has a multiple food allergies and he was extremely accommodating and attentive when considering her needs. The shuttle service is reliable and takes you to and from the Sorrento city center, very close to the rail station. The hotel offers majestic views of Sorrento, a relaxing atmosphere, and an extremely attentive and kind staff. I can’t wait to come back!

STUNNING views, kind, helpful, and professional staff, excellent food and service. It’s a little far from town, but there is a dependable, prompt free shuttle that runs every hour that takes you into town. Be aware that once you get off of the shuttle, you will need to navigate a staircase to get to the lower streets that take you to the town center. My husband is currently dependent on a cane, and I was worried about this, but he did fine. If we are ever fortunate enough to return to Sorrento, we will stay at Hottl Aminta!

Beautiful hotel. Lovely pool, grounds, view. Breakfast was out of this world. Way beyond expectations. Best included hotel bfast I think I've ever had. All hotel staff were SO kind and helpful. Free shuttle was key. Paid 40 euro to get from get to hotel when we first got there. Afterward we took the free shuttle to as nd from city center. Took about 12 mins. Only small things is that we are dinner there our last night and process are def higher than in town, but they charged us 25 euros for buttered noodles with Parm. Same price as the bolonaise. Wish we had another day though to just hang out by the pool and chill. Highly recommend.

The location was excellent, far enough from central Sorrento to give it a chilled, quiet atmosphere, but close enough to get into town (on the complementary bus, which was a nice touch). The service, food, and pool were also top quality as well. The only things that let the hotel down were 1) it was being redecorated/ refurbished throughout our stay, so there were a lot of workmen around, even in the corridors by the rooms (unnerving for my teen girls), and our first rooms were constantly covered in paint/ building dust, and 2) the quality of the fittings and build of the rooms was poor, with surprisingly shoddy workmanship Having said that, the staff changed our rooms early on to ones that were less impacted by the workmen, and we really enjoyed our stay regardless.

Beautiful property but really strange restrictions: You had to book the fitness room even though it was hardly used. In fitness rooms, they would unlock the fridge, give you a water bottle and lock it again. No towels. In pool area we were told we would only get one towel a day. Food could only be consumed on “round tables”. Beautiful property guys, let guests (adults paying high rates) enjoy. Relax on the rules!!

We were a party of 6 staying at this lovely hotel set on the hill side overlooking the sea. We had great rooms all with sea views on the fourth floor, they were spacious with goid storage and small balconies. Breakfast was included there was plenty of choice, staff always welcomed you with a smile. All the hotel staff we encountered were lovely and friendly and helpful, from reception staff, bar staff , pool attendants the cleaners and the shuttle bus drivers , nothing was ever too much. Vittoria, who welcomed us Francesco who checked us out were fabulous. Special shout out to Nello the pool man he was fabulous always greeted you with a huge smile and hello, he even had time to say goodbye as we checked out even though it was early an morning checkout. The hotel offers a hourly shuttle bus service from 9am to 11pm into the centre with returns hourly from 9:30am to 11:30pm. The later return shuttles could be busy sometimes but you were never left stranded the driver always ensured he got you back to the hotel . Would definitely recommend this hotel .

Fantastic property with incredible views of Sorrento . Wonderful breakfast included with white coat service for all meals . Great food and the service is impeccable. Pool is excellent and bar restaurant service all day and into late in evening with some entertainment . Shuttle service was so appreciated in to town . Very clean and well maintained . Staff are excellen , especially the bar and restaurant servers ! Would definitely return to this hotel as highly recommend.

We had the BEST week staying at this hotel. From the front desk, waitstaff for breakfast, house keeping to the bartenders (Especially Antonio) it was AMAZING. I am a previous restaurant owner and worked in the hospitality industry for years. I couldn't figure out how everyone was amazing until days later we were told the hotel is locally owned and the owner comes in frequently. Which we did see him one night. Anyway, the views are amazing. They do have a shuttle but you'll probably still need a taxi some, but it was worth it. We had such an amazing time and alot of it was Grand Hotel Aminta itself and all the staff. The pool and hot tub were great too! You can't go wrong with this hotel.

Grand Hotel Aminta is a simply wonderful hotel. It has impeccably clean rooms with wonderful sweeping views over the Gulf of Naples and Mediterranean Sea. The staff could not have been more courteous or helpful, and the restaurant dining was excellent. It has a real “old world” charm - the kind of atmosphere and service that is sadly lacking from so many modern, more “corporate” hotels. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. Also worth noting it has a regular private bus service into Sorrento that works like clockwork, and many excursions to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast and more can be organised straight from the hotel. Absolutely excellent!

Room was lovely and the Jacuzzi bath a real bonus and appreciated after a days walk in Pompeii. Breakfast spread was up there with the best I’ve seen. Staff very helpful and friendly Shuttle bus to and from town necessary given the hotels location but worked well and - boy what a location for stunning views
