It wasn't bad, but reducing 1 star because given the price point I would expect a much better breakfast (the omelet maker was putting such a small amount of toppings, baked goods tasted stale) and better pigeon control in the breakfast area. Apart from that it was conveniently located and it served as a good base to explore Sorrento and Amalfi.

Hotel was very nice, comfortable bed, and sheets , pretty good size room for Italy , 5 min easy walk to town ,15 walk to port if you’re planning to take ferry to Capri or Positano . We were very satisfied . We would definitely stay again in this hotel.

It was absolutely beautiful! The views were amazing, the pool and bar area were so pretty, the breakfast was incredible with so many choices and the staff was extremely friendly. There’s a little bit of a hilly walk to town, but a taxi was only 25 euros. It’s just a very pretty place! I would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The views, the staff and food were a 10/10. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. They were super accommodating we had an early flight and had a driver come (they set that up for us), they gave us breakfast and put it in a bag to go and everything.The food was top tier we had the best meals from the hotel throughout our whole Italy trip.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel with our family! It’s a beautiful property with wonderful, friendly staff. The hotel was perfect in every way. Stunning scenery and in an ideal location. The town is only a short 5 minute walk away and is filled with lots of beautiful restaurants and shops. The restaurants in the hotel are lovely and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our dietary requirements. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the rooms were more than comfortable. The view from the pools is truly breathtaking. I would highly recommend. This was our first visit to Grand Hotel Capodimonte but it won’t be our last.

Absolutely beautiful Hôtel. Room was spotless. Incredible view. Staff were friendly and prompt. Pools and terraces were beautiful. Bed, pillows, towels and bath products all of high quality. I have not a single complaint. When I return to Sorrento, I will be staying again.
