Perfect Spot

This one bedroom unit provides everything we were looking for and on a beautiful beach. The unit is well equipped with everything you could need. Jonathan, the owner is always available should any issues arise and very helpful. We loved it so much, we are booked for the next two years and hopefully for many more years to come. Such a great location with a million dollar view.

My husband and my dog cashed such a amazing time I highly recommend this location. Jonathan our host was always available when I contact him thanks, very pet friendly complex which I love defiantly will be returning.

Great location - poor experience with owner -

Myself and two friends stayed in this accommodation for 4 nights. We were given no instructions on who to pick up keys from upon arrival, until I inquired. When we arrived, a woman and a housekeeping lady just said here you go....this is your room. There is no formal front desk and had they not been wondering around outside when we arrived, I don't know how we would have found them. Once in the room, there was no information on the following: wifi password, safety deposit box code, how to use the dishwasher, how to turn on the hot water for the shower, who to speak to if you have any questions, etc. When I emailed to ask questions about the room (after walking somewhere else to connect to their wifi), he didn't answer any of our questions and just said to speak to someone onsite, and was very unhelpful. The condo should have ALL that information available when you arrive. Just write it on a piece of paper. It's not that hard!! The wifi hardly EVER worked when we were in our condo, but somehow worked well when we were by the pool? On the first day somehow we got locked out of one of the bathrooms even though we never locked it and our shower overflowed because there was clearly a drainage problem. We also were not told that we had to turn ON the hot water so had a few cold showers at first and then did our own investigating to turn the heat on. The place smells musty if you're into that...including all the dishes, cutlery and glassware. We had to wash everything by hand because the dishwasher didn't work. The patio is nice and the view is great. The pool is clean and the grounds are well kept. I would definitely go back to Cabarete but I would not recommend staying at this condo with this owner. It's important to make people feel welcome and understand how to use things in your condo!! That's what you pay for!!

Kiteboarding dream spot!!!

I stayed for 8 nights at Seawinds at Punta Goleta. I was traveling with friend for kiteboarding. Seawinds is located in the prime location!! It is right on the beach a bit south of kitebeach and bit north of Cabarete town proper. Seawinds has an enormous wide open beach with basically no other hotels etc for at least 200m North and just a few in the immediate location southward on the beach. The water out front is not nearly as crowded as at Kitebeach for kiting. The condo itself is gorgeous only a few years old. We had a ground floor unit which was just few steps from the pool and the beach. Kitchen was excellent with all the needed things. It was serious luxury! Janette and Yvonne, the hosts at the condo complex, were incredibly helpful with everything! We didn't bother renting a car and walked most places and when we had too much to carry or felt lazy took taxis. I can't say enough good things about this trip and can't wait to return.
