"We've had a wonderful 2 weeks at the villa. We loved the house, the garden qnd the swimming pool. It was very hot during our stay (up to 40 one day!) but there was always a cool place in the shade in the garden or the pool or under the terrace with the roof fans. We explored Valencia and nearby attractions in the mornings (most things seemed to be around 20-30 mins drive) and spent the afternoons at the house. "The villa and guest house were immaculate when we arrived and it definitely had the wow factor for us. The garden, plants and poll were excellent and there was way more space than we imagined. The villa is hard to find and as we don’t drive this did make life tricky as there’s no shops within walking distance and taxis were a nightmare so I’d recommend having your own transport. "Homely and just perfect for us and our two spaniels. within easy reach of beaches, restaurants and shops yet private and wonderfully restful. The owners are delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and their kindness to us made our stay very special. The metro is 5 minutes away so going in to the city is very easy - you can just pop in for a few hours or go off for the day.. the city is quite beautiful with a wonderful ‘cafe society’ feel. "This villa was perfect for our needs. The pool, the large living space, multiple bathrooms and bedrooms, and outdoor eating and cooking area was amazing. A word about the toilets: this home does not allow flushing of toilet paper so if that’s not something you’re comfortable with you should be aware.
