"I arrived and the owner wasn’t expecting me even though I had booked earlier that day through Expedia. The room was fine, hard mattress but I like that. A bit outdated and hard worn sheets but I slept really well. I asked about dinner and the owner said yes 7:30. I was sat in reception alone (in the dark as the light kept going off) and served a bowl of pasta with chopped up smoked salmon and cheese, a dry crepe and a terrible packaged flan. Les Rêveries

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful place with lovely people, they made us breakfast each morning. The husband spoke English well enough and was very polite. We had a lovely time and the room was very tidy"

La cour des agapanthes

10/10 Excellent

"We had a delightful stay at this beautiful property in the heart of Brittany. The ensuite room is spotlessly clean and very spacious, with a large bathroom. It is very comfortable and so quiet at night that we slept extremely well. The property is a stunning old house with a beautiful walled garden. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of tasty of homemade pastries, cakes, fruit compotes and yoghurt. Beatrice and her husband are very accommodating and welcoming hosts, who were very understanding when we were late arriving. We highly recommend."

Large, family-friendly vacation home in the countryside, outdoor pool, wooded property, pets allowed

8/10 Good

In Anjou in the castle vegetable garden, Peace, flower and vegetable

10/10 Excellent

"I was tempted to leave a terrible review to put everyone else off but that seemed perhaps a little unfair. This was the most magical, wonderful place to spend time with our children who were utterly entranced with the ponds and loved every moment in the pools. By day #2, one of our 7 year olds was asking if there are schools nearby and could we just live here? Beautiful gardens, fabulous wildlife (learning the French for hedgehog!), late sunsets and a lovely host. Thank you. "

BED & BREAKFAST in the countryside near hiking trails - Le Clos Gagné

10/10 Excellent
