"We arrived to a lovely welcome by Malcolm. The pictures were very accurate. The farmhouse was beautiful and rustic. The views were gorgeous. We had everything we needed for a group family stay. Shops weren’t too far away. Thank you Malcom it was fab. "

"Fabienne was an amazing host, super friendly and helpful, regularly checked and cleaned the pool and even drove us to the local restaurant when our taxi let us down. The accommodation was versatile, large rooms, comfortable beds, amazing kitchen and great outdoor space with lovely spacious pool and good outdoor seating and dining. Good location near to nice restaurants, great local beach, vineyards, about 35 minutes from Bordeaux centre. "

"We really enjoyed our week stay. Rod and Zeena have thought of everything for the holiday makers both in and out of the gite. They greeted us so warmly on our arrival and provided us with the essentials for the first night, including cold beers in the fridge as we stepped out of our car! They have made the property a real home from home and the garden was huge and great fun for the four of us and some friends who came to visit for the day. "We enjoyed our hosts immensely -- always helpful, full of fantastic suggestions for local things to try and to do - from night markets, wineries, to beaches and more! The pool was so nice to come home to, and we didn't have enough time to try all the games, bikes, and things available on site! It felt like home away from home in a region of France that is so relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. We were very grateful for our time there. Thanks to Leslie and Felix."

"We had a perfect stay in Elske’s beautiful property in Chadenac. It is really well equipped with a lovely warm pool and plenty to keep us amused such as basketball, table tennis and trampolining. We were looked after very well by Elske’s Team. It was perfectly situated for trips into the château town of Jonzac and historic Pons and only 40 minutes from the estuary towns of Mortagne and Talmont. A stay here is very highly recommended."

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "
