Amazing Beach House

The Beach House was amazing and perfect location. It was in a quiet neighborhood and easy access to the beach; just a 3 minute walk away. The view of the ocean and sunsets were so beautiful. We would come back to this place again.

Great view and very clean

Nice property is nice. Thanks to the owners for puting it out there for rent. The proximity to Newport / Waldport is very handy. Just a few minutes to groceries or whatever you need. Also close to good fishing and crabbing. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom.

This place is amazing! The beach access is a short walk away. The hot tub and deck were amazing, we spent a lot of time out there. The beds were comfortable and the home is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook in. This home is such a dream, I would happily stay here again. You just can’t beat the view!

We love Sweet Retreat

The house is spacious, well appointed, has an amazing view, and there are fun things to do in the garage. The path to the beach is easily navigated and there are few people on the beach - even in the middle of summer busy season. Sunsets from the hot tub on the deck are highly recommended.

Sweet Retreat is amazing and we highly recommend it! It was incredibly clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach is easy. The beach was great. There were very few people and loads of shells and agates to find. You can't beat the view from Sweet Retreat. It's absolutely gorgeous. The clean hot tub was the perfect way to wind down in the evening. We cannot wait to stay again!

Stunning Views and Beautiful Comfortable home

Breathtaking is all I can say. Jaw dropping view and sleeping to sound of waves crashing. We even tried to extend our stay a day! The home is decorated beautifully. Hot tub was clean. We had food and groceries easily delivered, so it is easy to find. Planning to book here again!

Sweet Retreat Indeed

Sweet Retreat is aptly named and one of the most amazing homes we have ever stayed in. The home is beautiful and has virtually every amenity we could imagine - deck over looking the ocean with a hot tub, grill, and seating for six; beach access; and a play room for kids. The kitchen has every utensil you need to prepare and eat a meal, and both a Mr. Coffee and Keureg. The beds were very comfortable with new sheets and bedspreads. We loved our time at Sweet Retreat and you will too.

Sweet Retreat - Fantastic

Lovely property next to South Beach. Do you like having miles of beach virtually to yourself? Do you want to have the constant roar of the ocean as white noise sitting in a hot tub? Do you want to have a place which is well stocked and shows pride of ownership? Close to Newport, which also has a lot going for it. 10/10 would stay again.

Great stay on the Oregon coast

Truly lovely home. Very nice updates have been done and the home is spacious but cozy. We loved the comfortable living room to hang out as a family. All of the beds were super comfortable and everyone slept great. The kitchen was stocked with plates and utensils. The outdoor space was very nice, perfect for a nice sunny day at the coast. There is not direct beach access, but there is a map with a path to get down there.

Stunning View & Awesome Amenities

The 180 degree view from every room in the house was stunning! (My elderly mother loved it too!) We had liquid sunshine (rain) the entire time we stayed and it didn't matter. We could enjoy the beach and ocean waves from inside the house - nice and dry with a fire going in the fireplace. We even enjoyed the luxurious heat & cleanliness of the hot tub. Thank you! I'm hoping to come back as soon as possible.

Well maintained house and up to date appliances, bathrooms. Great location. Beach access is an easy and short walk. Beach was very private, only saw 2 people over hours on the beach. Of course it's late October and mid-week but I sense this is is a fairly private stretch of beach regardless. The house is up on a bluff so ocean views are expansive. Very relaxing.
