We were spending a long weekend in the area visiting family in Kankakee and this was the perfect home base for us. "Property is lovely. Neighborhood is nice, well kept and quiet. Train runs through at the end of the block, but we barely noticed it. The house is immaculate and very well equipped. Landlord is very understanding and patient. There was a minor misunderstanding over the # of guests staying and all the equipment brought in. The bride & groom did the whole wedding by themselves.
