Breakfast: toast w/jam or butter, muffin, oatmeal, banana, orange, coffee was good. Nice indoor pool. Minutes from town. Caretaker was nice.

A very clean basic motel that suited us perfectly on a last minute holiday weekend. We traveled with our dog and were pleased to find a booking that would allow her at the last minute. A close drive to everything South Haven, and very neat and clean. Check in was easy, and while we didn't make it in for continental breakfast, coffee and other beverages seemed to be available all day in the office. We didn't use the laundry facilities, but appreciated that they were available had we stayed longer. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Good location, quite, comfortable beds was all good. Indoor swimming pool, patio area out back to sit Hotel is older and outdated, small office with limited space and items for breakfast, pool water cold. Carpet was filthy so bad that your feet or socks would be was black. Bathroom floor non carpet area also very dirty, cleaned up and spill but got more from the floor than what I cleaned up. Price could have been cheaper since its a older outdated motel compared to the hotels around running same prices at some locations or giving a dirty floor room,

If you want to pull out your beach chairs and hang with the local squatters, this is the place for you. Def get what you pay for!

I thought it was a nice hotel. My only try complaints would be there was a musty smell in the room and they were a little stingy with the towels. But I was able to check in early and the staff were nice.

The property is clean and the staff was friendly but the room smelled musty and mildewed. Less expensive than most properties but I don’t think I would ever stay there again. I do need to say that the coffee they offered for breakfast was fantastic though.

It’s a good place to stay for the night. For the price we paid and one night stay, it is ok. It has all you need: TV, fridge, etc. Nonetheless, it is a little outdated.

Clean and friendly

Last minute solo trip. Good experience. Roo. Was available early. Friendly service. Room was very clean. Some outdated decor but I expected. Its an 'up north' type place. Clean was my concern before booking and I found it to be clean. Thanks for a great experience!

Comfortable and clean

We picked this hotel because for this area the price was reasonable. They are trying very hard to upgrade and you can see that efforts have been made. It was clean, the main area was nice, and the bed very comfortable. Which was really all we cared about. The bathroom had peeling paint was in dire need of an update. The owner said that they are getting ready to re-do all the bathrooms. There was a small refrigerator and microwave and the hairdryer worked! Not the greatest place but we'd definitely stay there again.

The place was terrible. The rooms were dirty and unkept. When I tried to check in the man who was doing the check and started yelling at me. When I said I didn’t wanna stay there anymore he told me to call Expedia that he wasn’t gonna do anything. Left me in his office and walked away.

Not the best, but not the worst

Decided last minute to take a mini vacation to south haven, and this was one of the only open hotels. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the room was a bit underwhelming. I didn’t expect too much from it, but the floors were dirty and there was hardly any hot water in our room. The bottoms of my white socks turned black after a few hours in the room. The area was a bit sketchy, but overall it wasn’t bad. Best part being that it was only 3 miles from down town south haven.
