Very Good

My sister and I took a road trip all the way to Alaska and we stopped here on our way back to the states. We were tired, grumpy, and all around in pretty sour moods, but that turned around completely when we got to this place. The owner was so, so kind and welcoming and the facilities were perfect. They were clean, comfortable, and very inviting. We only stayed one night, but would definitely come back and stay here again.
big room and fully equipped kitchen, owner is very nice ,the location is quiet.

Great Hosts nice people to deal with. This motel is old but well loved. This is the north country so not the Ritz's. So it looks a bit rough in places. But clean and good rooms. A roadside motel that's all, just a place to sleep and shower.
Arrived later in the evening, the owner is very sweet and considerate. Although there is no AC she went ahead and had the fan on in the room in advance to make it more comfortable. The room itself is old but did not smell bad like other places I've been. Well kept. There are trains but it wasn't an issue in the room we were in. Would definitely consider this option again over the other hotels/motels that are double the price.
Eine sehr günstige Unterkunft. Das äußere Erscheinungsbild trügt, leider. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Sollte ich den Ort wieder passieren, dann werde ich hier wieder übernachten

Good overnight stay off the beaten path
The property is "rustic" and a bit run down from the outside. The renovated rooms are very nice on the inside. The showers and fridge are outstanding. The bed was comfortable. If you are a light sleeper you might notice the freight trains that go by every few hours (not very far away).

Off the Beaten Path
The motel is not easy to find except good instructions were provided. It's an older motel. The room was clean and reasonably well maintained but not modern. Few electrical outlets, including one in the bathroom. A large room with a stove and full size refrigerator.
The lady in charge is super friendly. The room was all I needed after a long day driving. Clean and comfortable.

First impressions aren't always accurate. If driving by this property, you might not stop, because the outward appearance isn't overly attractive. The room was comfortable and clean. Plenty of hot water, and the TV worked well. No wi-fi in the room, but that was as advertised. The price was great, the room was clean and comfortable.
The room wasn't updated, nor was it clean. The trash from the previous traveler was still in the room. The bathroom had hair in the tub and used soap bars. A very loud train went by several times. There was no AC, but we didn't need that. The registration office smelled like dog.
The operator was nice.
The motel liby is unimpressive and the room was quite basic, but the staff was friendly and the room was in good condition and very clean.

Good view, great price
Owner is very friendly. Room was big with all the necessities. Very dated, but well kept and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking. Fridge and stove were new. Great view out of the front window/door!!
Overall experience was very good. Motel proprietor was very helpful in providing info on places to eat and local amenities, via email, several days before my stay. When I arrived, staff was very welcoming, pleasant and helpful - I was given a tour of three different rooms and given my choice of which I stayed in. All rooms were very clean, just in different locations in the motel.
South Hazelton is a small community, but TV reception was excellent, and WiFi signal at Motel was strong. I was very pleased overall.
I stayed here with a friend while driving through Canada to get to Alaska. The woman at the hotel desk was incredibly sweet. She made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to provide us with extra information about Alaska. The motel itself is located in a remote area, and again, the woman at the desk provided us with information on the best places to go to for food. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.
The view from this hotel of the nearby mountain is incredible! The lady who owns the property is very sweet and accommodating. We were surprised by how nice the room was for the price we paid and the neighborhood. There isn't much in the nearby town except for some amazing Chinese food. I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore the natural beauty of the area.

Friendly
The Motel is a little remote, but the owners are great. Friendly, helpful, accommodating. There is no phone in the room, but there is a pay-phone outside. Not a big issue because most people use their own smart-phone anyway. Fantastic view.
