"Great Breakfast"

"We had the absolute best stay! The place was exceptionally clean and had every little thing you could think of from kitchen supplies to Nespresso machine to a first aid kit to walkie talkies to kayaks! If you forgot something, no problem because they most likely had what you needed. The dock was a great fishing spot! Beautiful view of the lake from the screened in porch without having to go down the steps, but trust me you will still want to go down the steps to the lake. Communication and check-in was a breeze. We cannot say enough good things about this place, by far one of the best places we have stayed at with so many extra amenities from indoor games to outdoor games and activities. You could never be bored at this house! A great place for a couple or a family!"

"Nice and clean place to stay while traveling. Restaurants nearby for convenience and varying cuisines. Young lady at check-in was very personable and welcoming! Certainly would stay here again if in the area."

"We could not be happier with this house! Everything was exactly the way it was described (actually better). The house was so beautiful and the scenery was so amazing! I was out kayaking down the lake and looking at all the other beautiful places but also thinking , Wow! We have the best house out of all of them! My daughter is in a wheelchair and thanks to our amazing host, David, he assured all my questions were answered about her assess ability and also made sure she was able to get to all the things required for her to have a great time. I could not be happier with our choice and can’t wait to come back!! There are so many things I could rave about but it would take forever so I’ll leave it with, RENT this place ! You won’t regret it!"

"Room was cleaned. Staff was ok Breakfast was good, but could be better planning with waffle iron No hot tub or swimming pool 🤔 "

"The cabin is wonderful! The photos don’t do the property justice and you’ll be very pleased upon arrival. The back deck has great dusk, dawn and overnight sounds, including turkeys, owls, loons, all sorts of other birds, and out of our 4 night stay I heard coyotes 1 night. The host was very helpful in my time of need despite his family being on a very important trip out of town. If you’re not quite familiar with Lake Gaston/Roanoke River, make sure you understand the cabin’s proximity to the water and get a better idea of what to expect. "
