"It was filthy, the sheets were burned and stained, there was humidity and rust in the bathroom, the toilet was stained and had a strange smell. It's not like the photos, everything is old, and the TV didn't even work."

South Hutchinson seems very sad, with many abandoned and boarded-up buildings. I did patronize a couple of businesses, however, and they were friendly and helpful.
