Quiet neighborhood in a very picturesque setting. Dot’s is a very good diner, especially breakfast. Go to the Corse Maple Farm in Whitingham for the best syrup you’ll ever have!"

"The Nutmeg was a great cozy and clean stop for my girlfriend and me on our way to New Hampshire. We didn’t get to try the breakfast but our experience was very positive. Our room was clean and the property was well-maintained. We definitely will be back so we can try the breakfast!"

"Never stayed in house where the kitchen had everything we needed!!! Everything! We like to do our own cooking at home. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. Fire pit looking out on the most wonderful views. Everything you want rec was plenty of - paper towels- toilet paper- cleaning supply’s- etc. tv’s both large and easy to use. Layout of house is different but after getting to know it - it’s nice being all spread out in bedrooms in house from each other. We used indoor sauna also. Don’t have kids but if someone does they have everything in downstairs game room to keep busy!"

"My parents and I really loved the place!! The kitchen is complete with stuff. We felt so comfortable inside even it was freezing outside throughout the night. I love the indoor hot tub! It was relaxing.. The staff who accommodated us explained well all instructions. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back if I get the chance.. "

"Wilmington and this chalet were both wonderful getaways for my husband and I. The chalet was well equipped, comfortable and cozy and had the bonus of a fantastic location. We hiked Haystack and Hogsback, swam and paddle boarded in Harriman Reservoir, and explored the lovely town (Bartleby's bookstore, breweries, Dot's and Village Roost were our favorites). All was within minutes or a short drive from this chalet. Loved the availability of washer and dryer, comfortable and cozy couches, front porch seating with grill, hammock, well equipped kitchen. Oh and it was on the walking trail (Hoot, Toot) which led to one of Harriman's beaches and to town the other direction (when open, it was temporarily closed to make it more accessible). All in all a really nice and relaxing stay in a cozy place with lots to do (or not!). Thanks!"
