The host Ross was very responsive to our needs. The rooms were a good size and the unit was very clean. Loved the fact that everything you would need for the beach was in the unit. Chairs, umbrellas, beach toys for kids, body boards, etc. We really enjoyed our stay. Also the patio was a good size and had plenty of seating.

The unit smelled of cat or pet urine. One of the showers was covered in black mildew, the floors were dirty, the ac vents and ceiling fans were covered in layers of dust/dirt. There were more than half used rolls of toilet paper available in each restroom with no replacements and a tiny trash can in the kitchen with no bag replacements. The proximity to the beach was great, but it was not enough to make up for the unit. The most frustrating part of it all was that I specifically asked the host about the cleanliness of the unit before I booked and he flat out lied. When I contacted him about it after check in, he ignored my complaints, acted like I was over reacting and refused to take accountability or even apologize for how dirty the unit was (even after I sent him photos). There are better places available on the island. I booked here because of the proximity to the beach, but the unit was so awful, I ended up checking out a day early and lost out on the additional money I spent for that day. I do not recommend staying here unless you don’t mind living in filth.

Perfect!

This property is cute, cozy and clean! Easy access to the pool and beach, nice view of the ocean from the patio/balcony. Unit is also well kept and fully stocked. My family and I really enjoyed our vacation stay and we look forward to staying here again!

Get Away

Place was great , great location and easy access to the beach . Condo was as described and was cool after a long day on the beach . We had a little trouble at check in because we were given a code to door but contacted owner and front desk and got it taken care of . Would recommend this place for a great place to stay . 2 pools and hot tubs made it great for the little ones . Overall would definitely stay again

Bahia Mar beach front condo

Grounds around the condo are very well kept. Very nice heated pool and hot tubs. Condo had everything needed for a long term stay. Rooms were cleaned prior to our stay but the whole condo could use a thorough cleaning a couple times a year. Shower in the guest bathroom could use an update. Beds are comfortable and overall it’s a nice place to stay.

Great Trip

We had a great time at Bahia Mar! The condo is centrally located inside the property with easy access to both pools and the beach. The condo is very clean and the AC unit works great, cooling off the condo very quickly. The entire property is well maintained. It appears they are updating some of the amenities but you do not notice the construction going on. I highly recommend Bahia Mar and this condo.

Overall stay

It was a nice place to stay, but we did notice it didn’t look as clean when we first arrived. The owner got in touch with us as soon as possible and got cleaning people there within the hour. We also ran out of soap and toilet paper, that was a little disappointing. I was overall happy the owner was concerned and helped us get that problem fixed!

Nice location

We enjoyed our stay, beach front property. The kids loved the pool. All was great inside except the pantry was locked & with 3 kids we took plenty of food to store. We had to use the kitchen counter & table to put everything. Make sure you take your own toilet paper & towels, only ones there were on the rollers. Some of the towels were old & yellow instead of white like they should be. The host was fast to respond. Overall it was a great getaway.

Condo was exactly as pictured. I have never been in such a great place. There is construction going on but it in no way diminished pur experience. The splash pad was fabulous and security is the best. I treated a friend to this trip and she was greatly impressed. I will for sure return.

Beach view was very nice. The pools were amazing. The property was clean, pathway to beach was very nice. Lots of children, if u have young kids it's perfect. Unfortunately for me I arrived early after my long drive from Ohio with my dog & groceries, the property owner did NOT allow me to check in. I definitely would of allowed it. So do not arrive early. Housekeeping showed up at 9:30 am that was unexpected. Other than that it was nice.
