RESORT FEES and PARKING PERMITS
*Gulfpoint Condominiums requires all guests to pay a one-time $10 per person Resort Fee during most days of the year. HIGHER RESORT FEES APPLY TO THE TIME PERIODS NOTED BELOW.
*Parking Permits are also required and must be displayed in vehicles.
*Resort Fees are paid to and Parking Permits are obtained from Gulfpoint Condominiums.
*The Gulfpoint Condominium office is open between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.
*From March 1 to April 17, the Resort Fee is $35 per person.
*From June 1 to August 7, the Resort Fee is $20 per person.
*During Memorial Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's the Resort Fee is $20 per person.

REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT
March 1st through Easter, the home/resort owners require a Refundable Damage Deposit of $430. The damage deposit will be collected by the rental company at check-in. The damage deposit is payable in cash or by credit card. Credit cards must match the renter's name and must be presented at check-in. Please see the property description for more information or call or message the reservation agent for more detail.

Caution tape outside front door, property was mostly abandoned, unit was filthy and the smoke detector was beeping. Property manager relocated us, we didn’t get to a unit until 1:00 am. A full refund and apology would be appropriate

Location and security on site
Arrived and main office was closed, no security to be found. Then we walk back to our vehicle and I get a citation for no parking permit. Parking permit was suppose to be issued by security that was no where to be found. Then we enter the room and the upstairs tenants or also vacation renters where running from morning to night and extremely loud. Security didn’t help! Then the tv in main room wasn’t working, wifi wasn’t working. Toilet in main restroom wasn’t working. Then we had to pay for wrist bands because it was summer, with all the amenities we missed out on that were suppose to be offer and having to pay additional just wasn’t worth it. There was construction in parking structure and all the way to the beach access. We made the best of our trip, will be asking more questions before we book our next trip to South Padre island.

Great room, horrible HOA management!
Our room was exactly as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. The surprises were, that a building had been burned down and no clean up had been started. It was fenced off blocking our access to the beach. This would of been nice to know as it had been this way for a while. Because of Covid, the management decided to shut down the pool and barbecue areas as we had just fired up the grill. This was not disclosed at check in. Kind of frustrating as all the surrounding condos were enjoying the pool and grills on 4th of July.

The family and I had a great time except every night my family and I kept getting told to go inside @ 11:30 at night we’re told that we needed to be inside our rooms and all were doing was talking outside trying to enjoy the view it was not good wspeciaywe came all the way down from 8 hours away and being military as well
