The Aries Chateau, located only half a block from the beach, embodies everything you could want in a South Padre Island vacation rental. With a private pool in the enclosed back yard and a grill on the porch, enjoy a vacation in privacy and comfort.

Located on the north end of town, this home is an easy walk from the restaurants and shops that South Padre Island has to offer. Heading out the front door, the walk to the ocean is less than a quarter mile. Decorated in an elegant and up-to-date fashion, the chateau welcomes guests who appreciate the finer things in life. The open living spaces encourage socialization and camaraderie, while allowing for individual simultaneous uses of the space. Sofas and chairs set up around a little table are overlooked by a flatscreen TV, complete with a DVD player. If none of the titles in the included DVD library appeal, flip through the cable channels for your favorite show. If you want to make sure you're not missing out on any news, use the wireless Internet to keep abreast of happenings in the wider world. If you're not in the mood to try one of the delicious local restaurants, the stocked kitchen offers an easy and appealing alternative to going out. Take advantage of the coffee maker and blender so everyone can enjoy their favorite beverage. With the dishwasher, you won't have to worry about quarrels over the dishes.

The dining table seats six and is right next to the kitchen for convenience. If you'd rather, dine outside for fresh air and proximity to the grill. On the main floor of the house, two well-appointed bedrooms feature lovely dark wood furniture and a calmingly neutral color scheme. Both the king bed in the master bedroom and the queen in the second bedroom face flatscreen TVs, and the master bedroom has its own private balcony. Upstairs in the open loft are two more beds, so a total of 10 guests can enjoy the home as long as six don't mind a slumber-party atmosphere. In keeping with that theme, there's a fourth TV in the corner of the loft. Two bathrooms mean that shower time can be a more leisurely affair, and with a washer and dryer you can feel free to pack light.

If you can tear yourself away from your private paradise, there are plentiful entertainment options to explore. Seafarers can choose between scuba diving and surfing, or push their comfort zones a bit and try out parasailing. For land-based fun, Clayton's Beach Bar & Grill offers regular Sandcastle Days with live music, workshops, and an Amateur Sand Sculpture Contest. Had a great time. Great location. If it had a washer & dryer we could not find it. We thought it might be in the garage but our code didnt work for the garage. We didnt need it bad enough for us to ask.

Loved the whole house, the pool and the location. Exterior needs work and the garage/patio does have signs of wear and tear but honestly it doesn’t affect the experience at all.

Enjoyed being at close proximity to the beach access and gas station. The entry to the beach house was tight along the side of the house and a few stairs to climb up. Just a heads up, in case you need to carry up ice chest and luggage. We had an issue with the dryer that is located in the garage, but Vacasa squared it away by having a technician come out within a day. The pool was nice and warm. It's a cozy spot overall!

The home was nice and cozy. Me and my family enjoyed it! Loved that it was so close to the corner store and beach. We also enjoyed the pool. It could of been a little more cleaner but it didn’t bother us. Would definitely book again 👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Just a block from the beach was perfect! The backyard with pool was great. The pool isn’t heated so was a little too cool for me but it was perfect to sit by the pool enjoying the sun! Backyard was also great for our dog. We had planned on another couple joining us for part of the time but didn’t work out so had way more beds than we needed but we really enjoyed having all the space of the house! I would recommend the Aires Chateau!

No hot water in the house, the pool water was cloudy and unsafe, bedroom doors stuck open, decks around outside are wobbly, siding falling off the house. The gas line on the grill too short to use, had to prop tank up on a cooler. The house is poorly maintained and musty smelling throughout. Should not be offered to public until rennovations are made.

This is a great place to stay. Pool is amazing. Very close to everything. The a/c in the loft does not work well and it gets too hot to be up there. We were there in May. I couldnt imagine what the summer months are. The 4 slice toaster needs replaced. Only 1 side works.
