"We stayed at the Munroe Inn for 2 nights to watch the solar eclipse and it was phenomenal. Olga could not have been more helpful or responsive and Inn is so charming, clean, and comfortable. Safety is a concern of ours as well and the Inn is in a residential neighborhood and is well lit for evening arrivals. Highly recommend!"

"This place is a jewel! We were greeted by the owner, she was waiting for us, we were running late, the ambiance is phenomenal, beautiful spacious room, updated and comfortable, super clean, the bathroom has all the comfort you can ask for, the bed is very comfy,, we cant wait for tomorrow morning breakfast! "Rose was great and accommodating to us. Communication was great so if we needed to adjust the room temperature she was on it right away. The room was spacious and the bed was quite comfortable! Unfortunately we were up and out too early to have breakfast, but I have read great things about it! Overall, it was a peaceful stay and we had a great time in Maine. "

"The owners, Carol and Denis, were just fabulous! So courteous and accommodating. They welcomed us in like we were family and not guests. The location was clean and quiet and warm in a cozy way. I loved the 24/7 access to coffee, tea, and hot cocoa, the gorgeous antiques, and the hominess. Even the house itself invited you in! And the breakfast? Fantastic!! So fresh and delicious and huge! I was stuffed every morning! The only issue was the parking was a bear trying to get in and out of safely....

"This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp."
