"From the beginning all the people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We show up early to leave our luggage but they cleaned our room right away and let us check-in. "The hotel is located right in front of the port, where you can leave the car (hotel guests pay 10€ per day at the moment) and enjoy Volos on foot. All the small details in the room made it perfect for a single traveler or a couple. The space was small, but absolutely enough for a city trip. The amenities were super cute and there was a variety of tea in the room. The breakfast was very delicious. I am not sure if there were any or many vegan options, luckily that wasn't an issue for me."

"Staff was not on property as it is off seasons, but kind, accommodating and polite. The checkin was easy, bed was very comfortable, location was very practical. The rooms are small but functional. We disliked the lack of shower curtain, bad smell of bathroom and the fact that there is zero soundproofing. We were bothered by noise from other rooms etc."

"The property was beautiful, quiet and very accommodating to my wife and I. Anything needed or requested was handled by the staff quickly and appropriately. Definitely 5 star hotel with all amenities needed. The staff were the nicest people in Athens who made us feel special. If you are thinking about staying here, book your room now you will not be disappointed."

"We had to seek emergency accommodation after the floods and were lucky to get a suite/room at the Somnia. Nobody had wifi so the owner couldn't tell if our booking was real or not but let us stay for longer than our booking until we could safely get off the island. The room was huge and had a dining and kitchen area too. He put his team in to emergency clean up mode as the island had flooded and there was a lot of mess and damage at the hotel at ground floor level. We had no running water or flushes but the owner and his partner were so helpful and kind when they were under immense stress and pressure. It was really sad to see the destruction. The location was great for the port, probably better than our main hotel booking (Punta) so we may book at this hotel next year."
