"Property manager was very kind but a little hard to get a hold of. Owner of the property was amazing and in contact immediately. The house is quaint, cute and perfect for a beautiful stay on the coast. We enjoyed the location more than anything. The owners left a binder with a lot of very helpful information for restaurants, stores, etc. If you want to stay in the area, you can walk almost anywhere. All in all we loved our stay and would return."

"Great property. Cute place. Note that there are very steep steps to get into the place, which is a conveyed attic."

"We loved this place, the location, and the host!"

"Fantastic beach location and comfortable unit equipped with air conditioning (essential during the heat wave that occurred during our stay). Clean rooms, good size and full kitchen; comfortable furnishings.Only caution is that this is a beach-side location and appears to have a bit of a price premium for that reason. It’s justified but only if you’re planning to make good use of the beach."

"Lovely home! The pictures don’t so the home justice. Great backyard for our dogs! House was clean, beds were comfortable, and communication with Diane was fast! Located next to Scratch Bakery and across from Willard Scoops homemade ice cream. Quick drive to the Old Port. Hope to return!"

"This place should not be rented as is. There are many liabilities that need to be addressed and it is not presented well or maintained well. Entry way door is filthy, mud room filthy, circular staircase to second floor is major liability, difficult to manage, needs non slip surfaces and should not be rented to those who are large, handicapped, with children, or who simply even have luggage. There is no smoking or vaping allowed but you sure can smell it from downstairs. Also the super...

"Centrally located in the Old Port, with views of the harbor, this was a last minute — therefore pricey — excellent find for a fall weekend getaway. Stylish, elegant rehab of 19th century granite industrial building. Whimsical decor notes referring to 19th century owner Evalina Fox. Nicely appointed kitchenette — though if you came to Portland for the foodie scene, you might end up just using it for breakfast, as we did. Only sour note was the disco music (coming in via the ventilation...

"The location is excellent. We were very happy to have onsite parking. The apartment is lovely, nice touches all around. The hosts were easy to work with and quite pleasant. I would definitely recommend the stay."

"Super cute apartment that was perfect for our stay in Portland. It was close to Old Port that had lots of cute shops and restaurants."

"This studio felt more like a gorgeous suite to me: it is beautifully furnished and decorated. Every need is being anticipated and covered. Love the kitchen! I slept so very well it is peaceful. The neighborhood is so very beautiful and 5 minutes away from the water and great views of the Eastern End. Rudy, the host, responds quickly, finds immediate solutions, and he is very kind and compassionate. I have difficulties navigating the staircases due to my aching hips and knees, but Rudy went...

"The condo was clean. The entrance is on the side, which we found after trying the front door. Be aware that the floor is not even, and slopes a bit. Also there is no bathroom on the second floor where the bedrooms are located, but that was not a problem for us."

"Words cannot express how great this place is. Clean. Plenty of room. Great towels. Well stocked kitchen items. A huge bonus: real coffee and a coffee maker (not a Kurieg). Large living room. Comfortable beds. Night lights. All the little things that provide creature comforts. Parking was a little tricky but I got extremely detailed instructions so it was not a problem. "

"Apartment was as described. Clean, walking distort downtown and parks. Enjoyed stay. Easy communication with host. "

"Terrible area with no parking-no lights in entrance- not suitable for more than two bedrooms. Fold out couch setup no good. Stairs steep and dangerous"

"There is no parking at the apartment. You must find a spot along the road which might not be in front of apartment"

"We loved staying in Ani’s place, the house was perfect for our girls’ trip - roomy, bright, and comfortable, with the most beautiful garden. The location is great - so many cute shops and good restaurants within walking distance and close to the water as well. We had great weather - Maine in the summer is pure magic. Would 100% stay here again!"

"A great place to stay while exploring and visiting Portland! Great communication, easy process, and would definitely stay again if we visit Franklin"

"This was a great house in a great location. Everything was within walking distance and the house had everything we needed. The rooms were a good size, with comfortable beds, a desk in every room, and it was completely charming. Ani gave clear instructions for entry and parking. If you’re looking to explore downtown Portland, this is my first choice! Beautiful!"
