"Staff were great and location to the beach was brilliant. Not very impressed with the views, we were promised ocean views but all i could see is the derelict building site below with an enormous amount of trash and dumping right outside, and graffiti/vandalism. Maybe a discussion with the council to prompt cleaning that up! Really spoilt the feel. Cleaners were good so overall not really a problem with cleanliness, however the carpet could do with a deep clean or renew - our feet were black within 20mins of being in there. "

"The day before arrival we received an email to manage our expectations, telling us that the property has no WiFi as advertised and we hat the property is ‘budget’, and not to expect anything from it (nice to let us know the day before huh). Property condition is poor, badly maintained, leaking taps, inadequate air conditioning, rock hard beds and slabs for pillows. Location however is great, right on Scarborough beach. If you are after budget and location, then great. If not. Avoid "

"Our Palms experience was fantastic from the get go. Our host engaged with us early on to ensure our booking was acknowledge, we were well in formed and kept up to date. The house was everything we had hoped for and more. Every convenience was catered for. True luxury. Everyone of us said "how good would it be to live here permanently. "disappointing part is when people leave trolleys in the lift , also water marks from the pool. There should be a side access to allow people to walk directly to the beach. The views were excellant and unit was very clean that stay was perfect for us all. Just the little things mentioned could be fixed. Would come back for sure. Thank you. "
