"The staff and rooms are very good. The location is great for cruises and the train station. The rooms need AC. Even though it was not that hot in Southampton, it was very humid. The room just felt muggy. The fan and very small window opening was not enough to air the room out."

"The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The breakfast staff were friendly and efficient so there was always food available. The room was clean but the bathroom can use an update as the plumbing was making noises. Overall we did like the hotel and would stay again."

"Stayed there for 1 night with family of 4. the check in was excellent experience. but check out was horrible. i guess the lady in the front office did not have a good day she was extremely rude for asking a bottle of water on a hot day. "usually we do not give water "... really ??... apart from that the property is good. could improve on attitude of staff."

"Starting with the front desk staff it was a wonderful stay. We only stayed one night but the room was an upgrade due to some switches and it was beautiful. The old woman at the desk that night was so kind and welcoming that we made friends immediately and I would go back to that hotel anytime I was in town!"

"Room 201 No full length hanging space for a dress Hairdryer cable was so short I couldn’t use it without bashing myself with the open drawer but if the drawer was closed the cable got shorter! Several stains on the carpet"
