"Nice resort with nice amenities and great staff. Great location to easily walk into Hamilton with many restaurants nearby. Rooms were not very soundproof, the resort restaurants were a little over-priced for what they offered, and just know that you will not have a view of the clear blue ocean from the resort (although the views are still pretty). Personally I can’t imagine staying here for all nights while in Bermuda given that you can’t see the beautiful ocean from the resort, however, they do have a beautiful private beach if you don’t mind taking transportation to get to it."

"An amazing resort, and the staff were so helpful and so friendly!!! The resort has beautiful views of the clear blue water. Stayed our first night in Bermuda at a well-reviewed resort in Hamilton and while it was nice, the views were only of the harbor. When the taxi dropped us off at this resort we were in shock at the incredible views! You can have breakfast or dinner with a great view, and they have a great restaurant and bar right next to the water with a great view as well. The fact that they have their own private beach is amazing. They also offer kayaks, paddle boards, and snorkeling equipment for the resort guests to use. And there are great places to snorkel right there. My wife was reluctant for us to stay there because I’m not really a beach person and she was afraid I would get bored since I couldn’t just walk into town from the resort, however, there was plenty to do on the resort and plenty of restaurant options. Also, the steps down to the private beach weren’t nearly as far as I thought. It was similar to going down two flights of stairs. We will be staying here again next time!"

"Claudette (and Amour) were excellent hosts. All logistical issues went very smoothly. We did not want a hotel-like experience since this was a family gathering and what we got was exactly what we wanted, a home away from home. Location is in Southampton near the Gibb lighthouse on the south end of the island. Know that you can’t rent a conventional auto, only scooters or little two seater vehicles. Taxi transportation can definitely get expensive since you are away from the main part of the island. That said, we got what we wanted. You can walk to the beach and there are walking paths nearby. Definitely download Hitch for Bermuda’s rideshare. There is a lovely yard with lounge chairs and a hammock. The two queen beds were very comfortable and rooms are spacious. Washer and dryer are in process of being hooked up but Claudette offered to do wash for us. Took a couple of days to figure out how to get water in shower but it was there once we were instructed how to get. Everything was super clean. If i was writing a title or headline, it would read “Our Bermuda home away from home.” Thank you, Claudette."
