What a funky, fun place to stay. Our group of 6 loved every minute. 10 minute stroll to bars, restaurants and supermarket. High Street a few minutes more. Adjacent to cruise ship check in too. Very friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend.

We just spent one night there since we were taking a cruise the next morning. Overall, Southampton seems like a lovely place, but we've only been there a couple of times to overnight before taking a cruise.

The Tudor House was excellent. I learned a lot about the Pilgrims from the waterfront monument and their free guide book. The Titanic route, ending with tea at the remains of the Southwest Hotel was interesting.
