The Beachside
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at The Beachside! It is one of the coolest places we've ever stayed at - from the retro decor to the jazzy music, the place is a whole vibe. Rooms are intimate but very comfortable, especially the sheets and beds. Food was great in the lobby, as well as the selection of snacks in the rooms. The pool is quaint but perfect (and heated!). We didn't participate, but I loved how the hotel hosted activities like movies on the lawn for the kids, and they wore headphones to watch so it didn't inconvenience anyone. I'd say the only thing missing could be a shuttle to town or the beach in case it's raining, but if it's not, it's a perfect short walk over. I do love the location - close to the action but a little removed from the center, which makes it a peaceful retreat tucked away. Highly recommend this property, and will be back!"

"We stayed here while my son was in town for a sports tournament and had a great experience overall. The room was clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. One of our favorite features was the courtyard with fire pits, cornhole, and plenty of tables to relax and hang out. The front desk also had a nice selection of snacks, and the bar served excellent cocktails. My only minor complaints were that the power outlets built into the nightstand weren't properly secured, so they would pull out when unplugging devices. Also, the pool hours posted on the door stated it closed at 11:00 p.m., but we were told it actually closes at 10:00 p.m., which was a little confusing. Overall, I'd rate our stay a 9/10. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!"

"The rooms were fine but could use upgrading and better design. Pretty sparse and boring. The bathroom was way too small for such a large bedroom. It was all very clean and the staff which seemed like only one person at the front desk was very helpful. The pool was very nice and drinks there were great with friendly staff. The grill at the pool was good but needed to offer more choice, maybe add coleslaw or fruit to the menu. But the place had convenient parking and overall the experience was pleasant. There was lots of sun so can’t beat that."

"Beautiful clean resort right on the beach. Staff to help set up complimentary umbrella and chairs on the beach. Drink and food service on the beach as well. Staff greeted us with a smile and offered to help with luggage. Check in process went smoothly with the help of Marina. Marina and RJ team also went out of their way to help us decorate our room to surprise our friends for their 50th birthdays. We also received a box of chocolate and card from them, very kind gesture. We had a great time and look forward to coming back next year. Thank you again to Marina and RJ team for making our stay special and memorable!"
