"It was a great place to stay for our one overnight driving from Charleston, SC to northern Michigan. The room was clean, the staff and service were excellent and the beds were comfortable. We were impressed! Since it's not a chain hotel, we took a chance on it and were very happy."

"Very nice place. Hotel front desk representative was very kind and expeditious in getting us our room. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was ample with biscuits & sausage gravy, sausage patties, eggs, bread for toast, bagels and cold cereals. Decent price for the night we stayed. Would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity. "

"This hotel was fabulous. Couldnt ask for better staff. Breakfast was typical breakfast at a hotel,my husband li ed the hot food. Bed was super comfy. I would stay again. It was close to where we were going. The only problem was and it was not the hotel was Expedia changed my room preference feom non smoking to smoking. I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke, would have been in ER, so dont do that ever to anyone. Thank God hotel gave us a different room."
