"We went fishing in lake Grindstone (Note there is a water park on this lake now during the summer - the fishing isn't as good) and also went "tourist shopping downtown". The best parts of our stay were at the cabin: watching wildlife including squirrels, mule deer, elk and even the "wild" horses that roam the area. We grilled dinners (trout from the lake, and steak) and relaxed in the hot tub. It was a great vacation."

"Nice and close to Carlsbad caverns. The house isn’t large, but has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, large kitchen, TVs everywhere. Great use of space."

"Three moms took a weekend away and absolutely loved this house! We played Mah Jongg on the deck enjoying the beautiful view. On Saturday we went into town and did a Paint & Sip and had dinner at the Texas Club. It was such a relaxing weekend and we will definitely be reserving this property again next year!"

"This is a great rental for our group of 5. Love the kitchen with the live edge counters. Salt and pepper are the only spices in the kitchen so be sure to bring your own. The outdoor patio deck is a bit bigger than some of the other units we have stayed in so that was a big plus. Communication was great and we had a wonderful time. If you walk across the parking lot to the golf course in the evening, you can usually see elk and deer."

"Convenient location to Carlsbad Caverns. Lots of rooms and beds. Overall vey clean and comfortable but one of our party thought his sheets had an odor. TV in every room with lots of channels on Roku. Would certainly stay again."

"My husband ended up making this work trip without me and mentioned it would have been tight for the two of us had I came on the trip with him and stayed here. Small bedroom and bath but the home was very clean with a comfortable bed and very responsive host! It's perfect for one person and he would stay again if traveling alone."

"Property was beautiful, relaxing back yard. Comfortable house. Supplied all our needs as a group if 5 women. Only thing is the cleaning staff needs to pay more attention. The facet in the main bathroom had a large amount of lime and hard water built up on the rim of the facet. Kinda scary to use. We didnt use the sink because of that. Floor was needing to be swept. The refrigerator needed little more attention. All in all its a nice place to stay and i would recommend it."

The only thing that was slightly bothersome was the blinds in the main bedroom were not installed (in the closet) and there are some bright street lights that shine through that window."
