"The room was immaculate with clean, comfortable furnishings. The jetted tub and shower were great with excellent water pressure and abundant hot water for long showers. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with most things you would need to cook a basic meal."

"Booked this last minute after weather canceled my flight. I booked a balcony room mistakenly thinking i would have an indoor view of the airport but it was outdoor unfortunately. Very nice hotel. Room and hallways were clean and didn't smell. Only warning is the elevator is very busy in the morning and it may take a while to get downstairs so take some extra time. Will be staying again if I ever need to."

"Amenities were excellent, even though jacuzzi wasn't working. Lazy river was a nice size for a hotel & very relaxing. What i didn't really like was the room. It literally was bare minimum. They put all their money into the amenities but not much in the room. No drawers whatsoever. Minimum shelving. The one thing that really drove me crazy was the shower. It only has one setting, which is rainforest. BUT the front of the shower is glass, so there is no way to turn on the shower without getting a cold, soaking wet arm. Must have been designed by a man. I would not suggest this hotel if you are more than a party of two that's staying for multiple days. Luckily we were only overnight ."

"I appreciate the staff setting us up with playpen for our baby! I also appreciate the hospitality we received during every interaction. The one thing that I did not enjoy was the bed/mattress. It caved in the centre and was very soft. This made some nights uncomfortable unfortunately."

"It’s always a great stay at The Island. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The only downside is that the refrigerators are small and suck at cooling or keeping beverages cool."
