"I honestly cannot rate my stay at Papageno Resort in Kadavu highly enough. As a backpacker on a budget, staying here was a very special treat for me, and it exceeded every expectation. Every single member of the staff, without exception, was incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely focused on making sure I had the best possible experience. Their warmth and kindness made such a difference, and I truly felt welcomed throughout my stay. I’m also a keen amateur birder and had read great things...

"Beautiful property on the beach with lush gardens, lovely pool and accommodation dotted around the gardens. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can swim and snorkel straight from the beach at high tide and there is an activities base in the hotel for kayaking, snorkelling, surfing and fishing trips. Good food, fresh and reasonable priced. Breakfast is very simple but does the job. I would have liked more fruit and salad options at mealtimes but apart from that it was great. Highly...

"Everything about this stay was great. Great staff. Lots of food choices, activities. Beautiful place to stay in Fiji"

"The staff was very friendly and very helpful with any question you have. The restaurant and bar were very good. If you are looking for 5 star place to be pampered this place is not for you. If you are looking for a great place to stay eat and have drinks in the evening and explore on your own during the day this is the place. It is in the Pacific Harbor area of Fiji. It is slow paced easy to find time to relax on the beach. If you are there on a Thursday evening make sure you go to the Lovo...

"Our stay at Fiji Hideaway Resort was not what we had hoped for. The room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and the only place to wash cups and glasses was the bathroom sink. Cups, glasses, and towels were never replaced during our six-day stay. Obtaining beach towels was unnecessarily difficult, with multiple staff members sending us elsewhere before we could get them. The bedding was also inadequate for cooler nights. We were given only a thin cotton blanket and had to request extra...

"Incredible location, beach front, easy access to snorkelling, wonderful staff. Rooms have aircon, clean and a simple breakfast was included ."

"Wonderful small resort with a great pool, right next to a beautiful beach and lovely, big rooms with very comfy beds. The restaurant was very good, and very reasonably priced. The highlight of Bedarra Beach Inn though is their incredible staff - from the restaurant staff, to the cleaners, the gardeners and everyone else - just the warmest, kindest people who made our trip so special. Couldn't recommend this resort more highly. Fantastic location also to other restaurants, resorts and cafes and...

"Where to start, wow, from when we were dropped off, the team was amazing. They performed a traditional warrior dance with full on costumes. The ocean views, rooms, restaurants, pool side and very warming culture make this an amazing place to go, for both families with kids, and also couples wanting a romantic few days. We would HIGHLY recommend it."

"The staff at the property are amazing. We were there for 10 days and as time went on it was like they were family. From when we arrived, we were greeted with a song. There are three restaurants so there is variety for everyone. My husband went on the river tubing excursion and loved it. The rooms were very clean and anything we needed staff were always helpful"

"Nice and clean hotel with awesome staff."

"When did the clock stop? Clearly in its day a great resort, then something happend. It's stuck in time, elements are current, elements need renovation. We stayed 2 nights, the restaurant/bar lacked the attention expected today - menu choice/availability. In our view the venue needs investment, (not just financial) it needs driving towards the expectations of the 21st century."

"Convenient but rooms need update. Lots of dust and mosquitoes Smell stale. Need new rugs in hallways and filters need cleaning. Some staff don’t have smile on face. No microwave in rooms to warm food etc. very small eating space in rooms. But very secured with security for safety. Halal option not available as all meat kept close to each other giving rise to food contamination. Should have separate table for halal food option. Spoon not provided with cutlery. But yeah love the...

"My wife amd i stayed for a week and had the best relaxing week! We have a special diet and the staff/chefs accommodated every meal, and the food tasted incredible!!!! Also all the staff you meet are extremely nice - we feel like we have made friends. We absolutely recommend staying here - it is magical!"

"niece resort on the Pacific (separated from the beach on y by a small local road with no traffic). Onsite restaurant is good for dinner and lunch (indian/Thai) Breakfast is okay but not great. Toast, fruits, cereal, eggs and sausages) we very much appreciated the flexible check out policies that allowed us to stay longer before catching our evening flight out of Nadi"

"Great breakfast, relaxing pools, beach view sunsets amazing. Clean room, staff brilliant."

"The pool closes early. All activities were suspended due to winds. Adult pool only until 5 as they have a lot of weddings. We kept having to call for our drink at night. Very unhappy they told us the shuttle to town was working and when we got there is was not and cost 70.00 fiji money for round trip. Breakfast is good wish they had more drink options like mimiosa. Happy hour is fun but limited menu. Liked they had pool service. The room with the 2 beds they are more like a double then queen we...

"The property was beautiful and had a lot of options for food and drinks. The only thing is that there is not alot of excursions available as you’re close to Suva and so you’ll spend time there instead. The property is beautiful and we recommend anyone to stay here."
