"We stayed in the Bear cabin which was very clean upon arrival and welcoming. The patio has a table and chairs outside which was very helpful as we forgot our camping chairs! Every interaction with the owners was very friendly and helpful. Grills look nice but could use a little TLC. Making sure they have a full tank and that they are working. Between two nearby we couldn't get them going. They had extra propane tanks but by the time we realized we were too hungry and cooked inside instead. One...

"The property was just as described with a nice view of the lake and quite peaceful. It is not very spacious but there was adequate room for our family. Keep in mind it's a lake cabin and not a family house so we were fine with the accommodations. The owner sent very detailed directions immediately after booking which answer all our questions. We would definitely stay there again - this would be perfect during the summer months when its my feasible to get out on the lake."

"We had the BEST most PEACEFUL time staying here and driving around the beautiful country sides, visits the adorable towns, buying Amish wares and listening to the tree frogs at night. The cabin is serene, with charm, rustic details and all the amenities you could need from cookware to lots of cozy linens. The beds and pillows were great and the view is, just the absolute best. WE. WILL. BE. BACK! *not to threaten the hosts with the bold text, but we just cannot wait!"

"Great place for a private retreat in isolation - it’s at the end of a road, immediately adjacent to the WI channel of the Mississippi River. A little boat traffic and periodic train, but nothing that is disturbing. There are two separate fire pits at your disposal with plenty of firewood too! Cabin is small but perfect for 1 or 2."

"I liked that the cabin is fairly isolated. It was a great location to watch and photograph the Perseid meteor shower. The host was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I did not like is the lack of running water at the cabin. A very minor issue for me as someone who has done a lot of camping. I would definitely consider staying here again some time. "

"It started out with no contact from host. Took 1/2 hour to get code. Owners appear to be on property. At night could not get door to stay shut, put a chair against it. Traffic from Hwy 63 was very noisy. I was ok about the airport noise as they disclosed it. Only stayed 1 night due to the above issues. Paid for 2 nights but wasn't worth staying."

"The cabin was actually nicer than the pictures gave them credit for. The beds and couch were very comfortable. The bathrooms were much nicer than expected. Both the cabin and the bathrooms were very clean. The grounds around the cabin really needed a good mowing. It would have been helpful if firepit tools for moving hot logs or cleaning out old charred pieces of wood were provided. Not something we have to bring with us. "

"We stayed at the lake house with family for a few days and found the house, lake and neighborhood very enjoyable. We really appreciated the property manager getting the propane tank for the gas grill refilled so we could do some outdoor cooking. The house is comfy, spacious and very well equipped. Our dog loved the fenced in yard. The fisherman and women in our group enjoyed catching a few largemouth bass on the dock. I didn’t want to leave!"
