Canyon Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park

"Just be aware that WiFi/Internet is unreliable, slow and/or essentially non-existent in this part of Yellowstone (in or near Canyon Lodge). Based on my understanding, they have microwave repeaters to get internet hear, and they probably get around 70MBps that is then shared across 3000 people, so you speeds are typically dialup (28kbps) or slower. Verizon is the only mobile carrier that works in this area, and their speeds are the same. The facilities are great in general, and you are walking distance to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The various food options (Cafeteria, Bar/Restaurant, and General Store) are all decent. There are a variety of food options, though they seem to be fixed and do not change from day to day. However, there are many options. Overall, this is a great option for staying, whether, camping, staying in the lodge (hotel room) or in a cabin. Driving from this location avoids having to deal with entrance to the park and you are basically a 1 hour drive or less from all parts of the park."

"We stayed at the property a couple days while touring Grand Tetons. Our room was in one of the 2 story buildings and was clean and comfortable. The room was very much decorated in the old lodge look. Our only "complaint" was that the AC unit was very touchy and didn't always work as it should. The resort itself was nice and we enjoyed the courtyard, fire pits and Smores.."

"Excellent place to stay, clean, spacious, helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, a lot to do & explore especially for kids. Buffet food selections limited yet each dish was delicious. Would've been nicer if the lodge we stayed had elevator installed. We will definitely come back for a longer stay."

"Our room was clean spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom set up was odd toilet right behind door. Loved the mirror and Lighting in bathroom though."

"This is a mom and pop type place that has consolidated several Properties under one umbrella. The design was nice, and they have clearly upgraded everything. The outdoor pool and hot tub were impeccably clean and a great temp. This is a value priced location, which means close to $500 for a simple room. This place is a bargain in Jackson and has some good amenities. Parking is free, and it has a great location in the middle of town."
