Amazing hospitality, high end linens, conveniently stocked fridge / pantry. Peaceful and relaxing for an anniversary weekend. Rooms are beautiful, location is central to wineries and a gorgeous bay beach. Highly recommend!

Johnny and Mark are wonderful hosts! The property was beautifully appointed and maintained, and the breakfast spread was as beautiful as it was delicious complete with fresh eggs from their chickens and fresh tomatoes from their garden. Our room was lovely, and the towels were wonderfully plush. All of the amenities and extra touches made the entire experience extra special.

Charming yet modern b&b

My husband and I escaped to Long Island for a beautiful fall weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vine + Sand. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with restaurant reservations and offered great tips for local activities. The accommodations were eco-friendly, modern and super comfortable and the breakfast in the morning offered delicious pastries and other homemade foods from local bakeries and markets which were a great touch. The location was private yet close enough to get to town and other local Vineyards and restaurants. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect couples retreat for NOFO wineries

My husband and I stayed here in the summer to investigate Long Island wine country (and the beach)! This place did not disappoint! Highlights include: walking and biking to local wineries, watching the rain on the porch, and the daily breakfast. The eggs are from the chickens at the house and are perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Also loved meeting the hosts’ sweet dog, Beatrix!

My husband and I stayed at Vine Sand in late June, and we cannot say enough amazing things about our experience. Our room and the entire home was beautifully and charmingly renovated, breakfast was delicious, the room was filled with thoughtful touches, and the pool and hot tub were lovely. And Johnny and Mark are wonderful people and fantastic hosts (and they offer amazing recommendations!). Vine Sand is perfectly located on the North Fork. We walked to the beach (and stopped at a winery on the way back), dined at Southold’s delicious restaurants, enjoyed happy hours on the water, and visited the extremely close town of Greenport. We highly recommend Vine Sand and cannot wait to return!
