"A lovely quaint apartment. Easy to find and easy access. Area was very quiet and peaceful, even with the nearby restaurant open. If you don't like stairs look elsewhere, especially with the bathroom at the bottom of the stairs. However, if you love idyllic villages by the ocean and peaceful morning walks with amazing views then this is your place. The pictures are accurate, the kitchen well furnished, and there is a blind for the skylight. My only complaint would be the tv is in an awkward place...

"We loved our stay here - we picked the property because its location on the island as well as the amenities available to us. Having free access to kayaks and beautiful ponds whenever we wanted is an amazing perk of staying here. Also the hosts are great and helped us out with any questions we had about the area, as well as dusted off some of their old toys for our baby to play with! We were ecstatic to find this comfortable two bedroom vrbo with high functioning utilities and a kitchen that was well equipped for our cooking needs. "This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!"

"We found the Beehive tiny house impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed. A comfortable home base for exploring Acadia, the Carriage Trails, and all the area had to offer. Checkin was smooth with excellent communication. Such a peaceful, quiet spot to enjoy nature and the simple things. Will come again!"
