"My wife and I were looking for a nice quiet getaway in the woods. We didn't quite get that. First the good, The property is wonderful. Just off the main road, set back in the woods. It's set up very well. It's also perfectly located in between Acadia, Bar Harbor, and Ellsworth. The staff was great, friendly, and accommodating. The tents themselves were very cool. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was massive, and they have a nice little deck and firepit. The bad, We wanted a quiet getaway but sadly did not get it. The place is LOUD at night. Tents are close so you can hear every conversation being had by your neighbors, kids screaming, and people playing music. If you get a tent that is on the main road of the campground it is very loud every time a car drives by on the gravel. It was cold when we went, so when we took a shower the steam would set off the fire alarm. It took forever to shut off. Every time we showered after that we had to crank the fan up and open the windows. This made for some ice cold showers. it was horrible."

"We had a wonderful stay! The views from our room were absolutely stunning, and having plenty of on-site parking made everything so convenient. The location is perfect. We were close to town, yet still peaceful and quiet just outside of town. Every staff member we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Our room was thoughtfully set up with lots of charging spots for our devices, a table and chairs to eat in, breakfast offered a great variety, and the pool area was clean and spacious. While the exterior shows a bit of age, it didn’t detract from the comfort or quality of our experience at all."

"AC did not work. Bathroom was recently renovated and pretty decent but the room was grungy with cobwebs, patched up walls, dirty chairs, and a door that that did not seal. Very very noisy. Staff was unfriendly. Breakfast was pathetic. Housekeeping only came once with a 4 night stay. The beds were comfortable though."

"The hotel was clean, well maintained, and in close walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. My one complaint is they do not advertise that they provide a grab and go breakfast every morning. Yogurt, muffins or donuts, granola bars, etc. Thinking I only had a tiny fridge and small microwave in my room and not wanting to spend big bucks buying breakfast each morning, I bought $75 worth of muffins, yogurt and cereal before arriving. Very irritated that I could have received all that for free (since the hotel was not cheap). They did provide brownies every night which was great."
