Beehive Tiny House at Acadia Yurts!

  • Downsize your stay-and upgrade your experience-by booking one of our two identical custom-built, self-contained Tiny Houses. Thoughtfully designed and perfectly efficient, each unit comfortably accommodates up to two guests with a cozy queen-sized bed and all the essentials you need for a relaxing getaway.

    Inside, you'll find a modest kitchenette equipped with a ¾ refrigerator, apartment-size stove/oven, sink, cookware, and dishware-ideal for preparing simple meals after a day of exploring.

    This Tiny House also includes a full bathroom with a stand-up shower (sink in kitchen), plus a heat pump/AC unit to keep you comfortable in any season. ALL linens also included!

    Tiny living doesn't mean sacrificing comfort. These bright, modern spaces offer a peaceful and unique home base while you enjoy the beauty of Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island.

Comfortable and clean tiny house that provides a taste of outdoors but some of the conveniences of a home (e.g., well-equipped kitchen). The only downside is that there is one sink to use for both kitchen and bath purposes but that's the tradeoff with staying in a tiny house versus paying the price to stay in a regular house, especially for just two people. The location was convenient to Southwest Harbor which is much quieter than Bar Harbor and westernmost parts of Acadia. Definitely would stay here again.

This tiny home was very thoughtfully designed and was perfect for two people. We enjoyed the peaceful, secluded feel to the property, and it was easy to access all parts of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. Check in/check out was a breeze and although we didn’t need anything, the hosts were available and had great communication. Would definitely stay here again!

5 star accommodation to go along with a 5 star national park! Very clean and modern but with a campground feel as well as relaxing amenities at the wellness center. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

The Beehive tiny house was a great place for our Maine adventure. The location was great with close access to Echo Lake and nearby hiking trails. Perfect for exploring the Acadia area.

Great Getaway!

We had an awesome time staying here. The tiny house was clean, comfy, and had plenty of room for us (2 adults). We also got to take advantage of some of the offerings at the wellness center, which I would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay in Southwest Harbor!

We loved staying in the Beehive tiny house! It was located in a very convenient area, about 20-30 min from Acadia. The kitchen had all the necessities and the house had a tankless water heater that made the end of a full day of hiking really relaxing. We loved our stay at Acadia Yurts and hope to come back soon!

Wonderful Place

We absolutely loved the Beehive Tiny house! It was perfect for us and so peaceful and quiet after long days of adventure. Great location to get places in about 15 min or so. The hosts made sure we had what we needed. The entire complex was beautiful.

Cozy in acadia

Coziest place to stay that is outside the town of Bar Harbor! Lots of trails near bye and we hiked Acadia Mountatin which is 6 minutes away. We did other hikes such as ocean loop, sand beach, thunder hole, otter cliffs, Jordan Pond, south bubble rock! We also drove up to Cadillac mountain to witness the most gorgeous sunset.

My stay at the Beehive Tiny House was exactly as advertised: comfortably close to nature. Everything about the property is peaceful and allows you to relax and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Karen and Aaron were great hosts who checked in regularly and made sure I had what I needed throughout my stay. Being on the quiet side of Acadia National Park also had its perks, from proximity to beautiful hikes with less crowds to still being a short drive from the park and great spots for sunrise and sunset! I can’t wait to plan another stay at Acadia Yurts!

We loved our stay in the Beehive Tinyhouse! We had the perfect blend of being in nature, but also very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the tiny house was very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast before leaving for our hikes. Acadia Yurts was about 30 minutes from Bar Harbor and many of the hiking spots we went to. The hosts were so friendly and easy to get in contact with. With all this to say, we will definitely be coming back!!

Perfect couples house

My stay at Acadia yurts was amazing check in was easy the owners were very nice and located in a cool area just outside of southwest harbor. The house size was perfect for me and my girlfriend for what we need. Will highly recommend to a friend and would love to stay here again in the future

Tiny House in Southwest Harbor

The tiny house was a perfect base for my first visit to Acadia national Park. A great location with so many options for hiking and food nearby. As well as a visit to Bar Harbor. Karen and Aaron were terrific hosts, and the house had everything that we needed. Hope to be back soon.
