"Good"

"Our room was spotless - the bed beautiful and comfortable. The history gift box is a delightful touch and we had fun exploring the old Flour Mill building and nearby town. Luxury touches like Aesop toiletries and quality shower and bathroom fittings. We had a wonderful night downstairs in the Cordial Bar with live music and delicious food. Bar staff were attentive and friendly. The Dôme made excellent coffee as always plus breakfast in the morning. "

They are very small units which share walls with your neighbours, meaning you can hear all conversations all hours of the day. "I was a little disappointed with my stay at Southcamp, especially as the many positive reviews were what initially drew me in. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance weren't up to standard expectations. There was sand throughout the shower from a previous guest, some cutlery still had dried food on it, and the curtain was partially off its rail despite requesting it be fixed twice. "No easy chairs to relax on, only fold up chairs in the kitchen area. A sewerage smell like dirty drains. The retic came on at 7.30 in the morning waking us up as it was hammering against the outside wall and not going over the plants. The kettke the tap to fill up. No instructions on how to work the TV. "We’ve been going to Spring Bay Villas for 25 years. For us, the peace and quiet, space between villas and that it allows pets are the big draw card. Ocean Beach Road gets busier and Denmark sprawls more from year to year. But being able to walk to the Channel and Ocean Beach are a real positive."
