"This place is lovely. It is part of the Alexander’s lodge, just 1 mile away from Ashfords’s Mt. Rainier National Park entrance. A perfect location, if you want to explore the park. We enjoyed learning about the history of the lodge from the info material in the cabin. The only trouble we had was finding the place, as the Vrbo listing didn’t have a house number and it was impossible to communicate with the owners as we were searching along the road in Ashford (no reception). "I stayed here for a couple days for a work assignment. Overall the stay was great, as others have said, the cottage has some uneven floors and the bathroom is tiny, but it did what it needed to. Very comfortable bed and offstreet parking was the key for me."

"We are a group of 8 friends who go on vacation for a week every year.( for over 30 years ) We are 70 years plus old! Property and views were wonderful. Many deer sightings, a view of the Columbia River. House was beautiful and updated, each couple had their own bathrooms attached to rooms. It is 3 stories, so if anyone has issues with stairs consider that when booking. We had no problem. Property owners were very attentive and would definitely recommend this property."
