"We loved our stay at Hunny Cottage. The house itself is beautiful - absolutely spotless with plenty of space and a very homely feel. It is in a great convenient location for everything in Hunstanton. The local supermarket is just a couple of minutes walk away and you can get to the seafront in 5 mins too. "The staff were very helpful. The hotel is very tired and needs some changing and upgrades and the bathroom was not clean with ingrained grubbiness. At breakfast, there was a coffee machine with no facilities for decaffeinated coffee. Just sachets of decaffeinated. Otherwise breakfast was good."

"First time stayed here, and could not fault a thing. (One or two little.niggles but nothing to complain about). Staff were helpful and all very friendly. Room was (as requested) a twin accessible room as mum.needs one these days.- and quiet. Meals were either in restaurant or bar area.Plenty of parking too, including disabled.bays. Overall, would stay here again if in Peterborough."

"Only stayed one night so didn’t use all the spa facilities which looked nice. Our room was a very long walk from the reception, this was difficult to manage with my son who is autistic and has disabilities. If I stayed again I would specify that we needed to be nearer reception. Room was ok, but small fridge in room was very noisy and had to turn it off (it was unplugged when we entered room) and the air con unit in the corner of room also made a lot of noise as the evening went on and my son insisted it be turned off! This made for a very warm night! The wall lights by the bed didn’t work, so I think overall the room felt like it needed some updating and maintenance. Breakfast was ok, I’m gluten free and there was a gluten free area. However I got told the cooked breakfast was not gluten free, so bit restrictive. I should have checked their allergens info to check myself so I would suggest doing that. Staff were friendly and warm, couldn’t fault them."

"Enjoyed our stay in a garden room. Although the gardens aren’t totally finished it’s nice to see the progress being made and on a sunny day it’s nice to have direct access. Fantastic meal in the kitchen restaurant. We had dined in prevost on previous occasions but the standard of dishes in the other restaurant was great. Friendly reception when we arrived. Breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a night or two to relax in a pretty and period setting then this hotel is recommended."
