Cyclists flock to the Elroy-Sparta Trail where three cool, dark railroad tunnels offer relief on summer rides. The surrounding Driftless Area reveals hidden waterfalls and Amish farms selling homemade pies worth the detour.
Pleasant surprise because we've never stayed here. Nice and quiet. Everything was clean. Easy check in and check out. The only thing I requested for being better was that they had no USB outlets. We just plugged the alarm clock in and set an alarm. We charged our phones on the ride home. We also thought it would have been wonderful to take a swim in the pool but it was closed for the season. No surprise because it's not usually in the 70s in October.

I am a traveling nurse who works nights and the staff are flexible with early check in or a late check out which is GOLD for night shifters not wanting to pay for extra nights.

Best Hampton Inn we have ever stayed in. Impeccably clean and the staff was probably the friendliest I've ever had in any hotel. I can't remember his name but he was working the afternoon of Sunday, 3/3. He was so friendly and recommended many dining/shopping options in the area. The pool was saltwater and so warm! Breakfast was great. This will be our go-to hotel when we come back to La Crosse!

I think that the title of this review speaks for itself. However, I just have to say that this is the BEST place I have ever stayed. The entire experience was beyond what I expected. The house is fantastic, the room was a place I never want to leave, and Donna and Cindy made me feel like I was part of their family. Now go outside....It was like a movie. As I sat on the back porch in the pitch dark, fireflies lit the pond and landed on my hand just long enough for me to get a good look at their...

Right off the highway, the Cranberry Country Lodge is a super stopover hotel, especially with swimming pool crazed kids. Rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is good, and the all-round feel of the place is warm and inviting. We all agreed this will become a regular stop for us on trip to and from Michigan.

Quiet and easy access to La Crosse, City of Onalaska, and the Village of Holmen. Left DC at 6 am and had my first meeting in the Village of Holmen at 11 am. By 4 pm I was hot, tired, and wore out. Came here met a cheerful and very accomudating staff. Walked in my room, AC and partial lighting was on. Room looked great. I felt like a VIP and that rarely happens when I travel. Definitely will be back -- a great price if u stay 3 nights or more.
