"The Shaker Mill Inn is located in West Stockbridge so it is away from the dense tourist traffic in Stockbridge, but is located with easy access to Tanglewood, Stockbridge, Norman Rockwell Museum, and I90 and the rural Berkshires. "The price of the room per night was on par with a lower-tier luxury hotel ($390/night), but did not match that offering. Upon checking in and getting into our room it had an odor that never went away, the shower curtain rod was broken so the curtain did not properly enclose the tub, the door looked like someone had tried to break it open by the deadbolt with a knife from the outside (wood visibly chipped away), and on the inside of the door the peep hole had tissue paper stuffed into it."

"There were no amenities but breakfast, which was absolutely adequate. The staff was very helpful, parking easy and the room was comfortable with good showers. The water pressure needed some help and a hair dryer would have been helpful but all in all the location made up for it."

"If you just need a place to rest, this works. The room was small, and bathroom items such as lighting needed to be worked on. The little things like a 110 outlet on the front wall had no cover but was dead anyway. Toilet trickled constant, plumbing needs to be addressed. All in all good stay but not 300 bucks for 1 night good. Over priced a bit considering all the little things. However, we didn't go see if there was a pool, and didn't not venture out to the "backyard" leisure area. They may...
